Best Hamburg anywhere around.. the Star Mountian Burger is absolutely amazing!!! All the staff is amazing and kind. The food is always cooked perfectly and quickly. This is a must try if you want a mind blowing burger 🍔.. add egg and bacon 🥓 😋 🤤🤤

A previous review was spot on when she said not to judge this place by the outside appearance. Although the inside isn't going to win any awards either, I'll tell you what will. The food is second to none, as is the service! The nicest people you'll ever meet work here and the patrons were all just as friendly. We had the pecan pancakes and be warned that one is all you need. It's the size of the entire plate and thicker than any pancake you ever had. I guarantee it! The home fried potatoes were great as well! Lastly, you won't find better prices anywhere and I'll also guarantee that! In short, don't pass this place up!

Stopped here as was looking for breakfast. Small but great spot with homey feel to it had
coffee ham& cheese omelet hubby had eggs,homefries bacon all prepared well Was was good
Lots of regulars an we enjoyed talking with them..as it was day b4 Thanksgiving noticed she had a good 20 pies set out buttermilk, pecan. pumpkin asked if for sale nope all sold
She did have a pumpkin an pecan left more in oven. Took them Ooh my those were the best homemade pies I've had in long while and our brunch crowd devoured them🙂 leaving for Florida or I'd be there breakfast

Best burgers and breakfast in the county! Been coming here for years and the food is always top notch. The owners and waitresses are always friendly and take pride in their work they can’t be beat!

If you are looking for a nice home cooked meal with good service and great atmosphere you have to try this.

We just left B and B after eating breakfast there. We each had pancakes and one is enough! The pancakes were the size of a dinner plate; thick and buttery! My husband also got 2 sausage Pattie’s and I had 2 scrambled eggs. The eggs were 59 cents each. We also had coffee which was hot , strong and fresh! The outside and inside leave something to be desired so I couldn’t rate a 5 on that but if you want a great breakfast, stop there!! The people working there were very friendly and service was great! Our total bill was $11.20 for two people.

I have stopped several times and the service has been great each time. This is a "dive" diner nestled in the mountain town of Tellico Plains, TN. It's locally owned and operated. No frills here, just awesome home cooked meals. The breakfast is crowded, the pancakes made by the old man are the BEST. Omelets are huge and delicious. The star of the menu are the Starr Mountain Burgers. They are hand pattied, seasoned and cooked perfect. Want a kick tail burger? Get that one! Again, no frills at all, an authentic mom and pop old school restaurant. Biscuits are great too! Homemade soup, everyday has a special for lunch.

Every time we going B and B we love it couldn't ask for better Food and people.

I was told by a fellow traveler that I should try this place for breakfast. They were so right. The food is great, home cooked. Very well priced too. This place would be easy to pass and not think twice about.

Breakfast was delicious. French toast was amazing. Staff friendly as they come. Patrons as well. Just a home town family serving their community. Would definitely come back!

You know that a concise menu means excellent food. They focus on delicious food combinations at a fair price. The staff make you feel like a regular even when it is your first visit.

Don’t let the outside deter you from going here. The food is great and the staff is so friendly. We got the biscuits and gravy with bacon and scrambled eggs and bacon and biscuit and everything was great. There is no sausage in the gravy but the will add it if you ask. Customers very friendly as well, one told us about the burgers and said it was a must try as well as hearing that from others in town. That will be our next trip there which will be soon.

Best local mom and pop eating! I have been going to this place for as long as I can remember. When they was off reliance road in a little convenient store. I played tee ball and my grandpa would take us to eat here on the way to school or games. Home made bacon gravy! Mmmm yes.

TBH I travel and eat breakfast in many places. This place is amazing!! Gravy=SOLID, Bologna/Egg/Cheese And a FLAKY biscuit was soooo good also. This small place ranks among the best breakfast I’ve had. Don’t be fooled by the exterior
