Amato's

Came back for a visit to Maine after several years, and of course had to get my Italian sandwich fix. I called ahead, and the order was ready. Fresh rolls, fresh veggies and friendly and efficient service.

BEST PIZZA EVER! We got this amazing pizza and a turkey Italian last night and it was the best take out I’ve had in forever! I was a little annoyed the curbside text didn’t work and waited over 10 minutes before having to call but they brought my meal right out and that all became a wash when our Monday dinner was amazing! We loved the different size slices too, wether it was by accident I would actually prefer my pizza cut that way. Cooked to perfection!

Nothing else compares, best Italian sandwich you'll ever eat and I assure you, you'll never go anywhere else...give em try, you won't regret it!!

Picked up phone call within 5 seconds. Polite. Pizza was great and ready 10 minutes after the phone call as promised!!!!

Staff was friendly, food was delicious, place was clean. There were a group of 13 of us who went in. Between all of us we ordered 4 pizzas and two subs I believe. It did not take long for us to get out food. I think our fave was the Chicken Alfredo pizza. It was so good! Great place to eat.

Best meal we had in Old Orchard!

Always a go to staple when you're in downtown Saco! The food is always fresh, good, and quickly made. The staff are friendly and there is usually a good banter between staff and patrons, it really helps brighten a day! Cheers!

Try to come here every year when we come to Maine. Their Italian subs are like no-one else's! They are a local "chain" but each location feels like a mom-n-pop shop. Fantastic variety & selection and fantastic food! 👏

Every time I go into this restaurant they are extremely friendly.

I love this place! Food is always great. So great infact you may have a 20 minute wait depending on when you order. They are always slammed but it always gets done in a timely fashion. There Italians and pizza are on point, the pasta is bangin! And the pizza bread don't even get me started on the pizza bread! Do yourself a favor roll on through there and get yourself something to eat. You won't regret it!

Amato's is the place to go for fresh and tasty Italian dishes made to order right in front of you. Italian sandwiches are the same with great meats and vegetables cut fresh onto your Sandwich. All orders made fresh most any way you want it. The staff is friendly, efficient and quick to get you what you want quickly. The restaurant is clean and the dining area the same. Many salads, deserts and munch items as well as drinks are there on shelves waiting for hungry people.

Hi, I ordered from the catering menu for a lunch that my place of work was having. In the past 4-5 months we have ordered from a few places and have been really disappointed.
With my expectations on defense….I was so impressed Amato’s in Saco exceeded my expectations. Awesome job, the food was excellent and hot, the salad was amazing and the bread omgoodness so delicious. The staff was welcoming when I arrived, this tiny woman helped me take my food out to my we chatted small talk….I love it she engaged with the customer….amazing job. This Amatos is the reference . The employees are great especially Ash and the gentleman who takes the money at the end of the counter. Always with a smile and super friendly. Delicious traditional sandwich.

Food was fast, and pretty good for a chain pizza place! They sold chips and drinks (including alcohol). Bathroom was clean, and staff were friendly. Very busy when we stopped in for dinner but I don't feel I waited for an insane amount of time. There large isn't very large (16" I believe) but it was ok for a quick dinner. If we happen to be driving through here again at dinner time we will be sure to stop back in.

They always provide fresh Subs. Always friendly service. great hot and cold foods. Saco Amato's rock. The veggie Calzone can have more veggies in it.

Had steak and cheese sub with the veggies. Great sub was very busy in there. Women taking order said it was going to be a while but they came out quicker than thought. I was extremely satisfied. Was a great change a pace from the seafood we had been eating for a few days. If you want a sub in maine this is the place to go.

Good food. I used to cook for Amatos when I was younger, so I know they have good food products. An you can not beat an Italian with real sour pickles. So if you never had one of their italians, you should try it.....also one my favs is the the eggplant parmesan.
