Evergy Service Center - Emporia

Was told they only trim trees touching lines that run pole to pole. Fine i have one of those. They send out their team to investigate and instead of doing their job they decide to lower the line and make it "my responsibility". So they lower the line low enough that i can touch it from the ground. Also their customer service is super un helpful and condescending. This is why we need options for utility providers.

This company is the worst. I have paid multiple times through their speedpay on their website and the payments never go onto my account but I get a receipt that states the money went in and it comes off my card. When I call the customer service line they are rude, obviously don't give a rat's a$$ that I am struggling or that 300$ got taken off my card and they say it didn't. They sent me 2 disconnect notices for the same account on the same day. If I had another choice for a company I would go anywhere else. They don't care and they are ripping you off. They are the scammers.
