Nice getaway to launch the kayak off of a Sandy Bank, $6 per yak, Bait store and supplies on-site with drinks and snacks.

Chickahominy Lake is the best kept secret in RVA for paddling. Facilities here are basic, but that's not why you come.

Hands down my favorite place to be. The owners are very nice and kind. The lake is peaceful and full of wildlife. I love putting my boat in here for a day of fishing.

I have been going to Eagles landing about 15 years. 9 years ago I fell into my boat and knocked myself unconscious. My husband swam out to the boat to pull it back in. Mike ( he lives next door) he used to work there too and my husband tried to get my conscious before the ambulance got there. I didn’t recognize no one but Mike. Jill and John are very nice people. Please pray for Jill. She is very Ill. 🙏♥

Been coming here at least once or twice a year since the 80s. Rare to have a bad day fishing. Staff always friendly & helpful. Late summer, you can expect to be hampered by the hydroponic weeds in the Lake.

It may not be much to look at, but there is excellent customer service and that's all that matters. I drove 45 minutes one early morning to get here and after unloading the kayak and was all ready to go I realized that in my rush to get out of the house I forgot my paddle! I walked into the store to see if he happened to have any. I found a used one in the corner without a price tag. He didn't know the price off the top of his head and I didn't really need to buy a new paddle so he agreed to let me rent it for 2 bucks. Saved my trip and was helpful from the time I got there to when I left. $8 fee to launch, which is on par with everyone else. Highly recommend.

Great folks, great location! A well stocked tackle shop, tasty grill, and some of the nicest people you'll find running a small marina. Affordable boat rentals with clean boats and a great place to launch on the Chick.

Ramp is not the state of the art but easy to use pay your $10 and enjoy the fishing
