THE Pizza Place

This place is awesome! So many vegan options and the pizza was delicious! Love the gender neutral bathroom and the doctor who wall. The date on the brownie was 4 days ago, yet it was moist and yummy!
I had a create your own pizza with vegan hand tossed crust, vegan garlic butter sauce, mushrooms, caramelized onions, artichokes and pineapple added after the bake. Hubby had a meatball pizza. We split some vegan garlic bread sticks and a vegan brownie. Everything was superb! Definitely going back.
The staff was friendly, upbeat and had great service.
The owner said they have a vegan buffet every so often and to keep an eye on fb for details and that they're always looking for new vegan ideas, so if they don't have your favorite; just let them know and they might have it when you return.
The to go boxes came with coupons for a local, family owned movie theatre.
They had three tvs that we saw from our table, one was playing some cartoon, one was playing cat videos and one had a tennis match.
Overall, a really wonderful experience. I'm already looking forward to going back.

OMG! This place is great for many reasons. First off my wife who has celiacs and I were in town visiting family, and were looking for some good gluten free food. Not only was it safe, but had a very extensive gluten-free menu! Pizza and appetizers were great. The restaurant itself is completely adorned with movie, and music swag/posters, and a whole wall of memorabilia dedicated to my absolute favorite comedy of all time Better off Dead! Apparently this place is popular amongst fans nationwide. It's a must see! (The restaurant and the movie)...

Gluten free heaven!
Holy cow amazing! Very conscientious regarding gluten free. Lots of choices. Literally more than any pizza place I’ve been. Would highly recommend and would return if we weren’t in area visiting.

Delicious gluten free pizza! We had a wonderful time there during an exclusive gluten free pizza buffet. Yummy crust, fresh toppings, and sauces we all liked. The service was very friendly and attentive. There are so many posters and such on the wall that anyone can be pleased looking around. We definitely will go back and you should too!

I am fairly new to the area, and was looking for some fresh pizza and salad bar.
This was an overall great experience. A great salad bar, the pizza was fresh, and service was outstanding. The building was clean, and the self service tools and rules associated was a great touch.
I am always looking for a great salad and pizza, and this place is awesome (the best I have tried so far in the KC general area).
If I had to add any corrective criticism it would be the salad bar should have more meat options (turkey, ham, etc) and jalapeños.

I plan to stop by regularly!!!!!

We drove for over an hour to attend the gluten free buffet. We had to wait for almost an hour before we were seated. It was great to see so many gluten freers flock to the place. We are hoping the gluten free buffets will continue because it was awesome to get what was served and looked good. There were a couple of times while we were there that there were no pizzas on the buffet, but the staff did a great job bringing them out as fast as they could. We will be coming back for sure!

Atmosphere lots of fun and the most delicious pizza I’ve ever had locally! Kind service! 10/10! Highly recommend! No pizza compares! If you like gourmet or regular pizza both are exceptional! They even have hot honey for dipping the best crust!

Super fun place! I love the atmosphere! There are fun movie posters, and musicians on the walls, which was fun to look at, and the food was really good. I loved the veggie pizza, and they have a salad bar, which is nice and refreshing! The employees, are so sweet, and we just loved talking to them!

Owners are super nice!! The food is unique and tasty. 🍕 Got the jazzy B pizza because that’s what I like. Always have great experiences when I come here.

We love the Pizza Place! We really enjoy the Sunday special! I look forward to seeing the specialty gooey butter cakes, too. I've tried several different flavors, and they all are so amazing 😍

Loved all the vegan pizza and food options! (Ask for the vegan menu.) They have 3 types of vegan cheese. Their original crust is vegan and delicious! My husband and I had the cheesy garlic breadstick appetizer, and shared a medium vegan cheeseburger pizza (soooo good - the dill pickles on it were perfect!). The vegan brownie is from a local baker, and was rich and gooey and wonderful! We will definitely go back. Only an 11 min drive from the Independence Ice Rink.

Great service, great choices on pizza. Wife got the salad bar and I tried two of many pizzas I've been looking at. Can't wait to go back!

The pizza I ordered was fantastic. I had the chance to meet the owner during my visit, and he delivered outstanding service. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Thank you to THE Pizza Place for putting on a gluten free buffet! Everything was delicious & the buffet was kept well stocked. My fiancé and I drove almost an hour to come today and it was well worth the drive!

Today was my birthday so I wanted to try this place. I read so many good reviews so we ordered carry out. The combination pizza and garlic cheese sticks were amazing! Fresh, real ingredients! I think I have a new favorite pizza place! Can’t wait to come in and try the salad and pizza buffet! Thanks for making my Birthday dinner a great one!

Came here after a flight, I was traveling for a wedding. My friend and I were seated immediately by a kind host and the nice waitress took our drink order right away. The atmosphere was so cool with all the music and TV vintage posters. There was also a game area but we didn’t get a chance to see it (but it looked really rad ngl.) the manager/owner spoke to just about every table and was very personable, and their shirts were so cool I bought two of them lol. The food was bomb and I wish I lived here so I could eat here more often. 10/10 please go here please it’s so rad and the pizza is so good

This place is amazing! My family tried the fattyhead dough with the meats. Also, their homemade pesto is on point. Congratulations on a wonderful place to eat for ketogenic customers. You have won our business.

THIS PIZZA IS AMAZING!! Soooo DELICIOUS!! we had never been in, and stopped by today on the Fourth of July, to our surprise there was a buffet and every single pizza and their breadsticks was so delicious! If you like jalapeños on your pizza, you will love this, they are so spicy! If you don’t like jalapeños, there’s plenty of other pizza options. Also, their Alfredo was amazing!
