This was our second time staying here and we love the peace and relaxation it brings. Swimming at the lake is the ultimate luxury (literally some of the cleanest water in the world) and it’s never overcrowded at the beach. We get time to ourselves there every day to swim, lay out, and throw the ball for our dog. We grill in the evenings and embrace lake hair. It’s a great way to live life.

It feels really homey and comfortable here and it’s the perfect family vacation, even if you have to make it a working vacation like we did this time around. It’s a quick walk to the beach and back so we could check on things when needed. The WiFi is good.

We had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy ourselves during our stay.

Brittain is and always has been incredibly kind, welcoming, and responsive. She’s a member of a really awesome community here and we feel so lucky that she shares that with us.

Thank you!! We can’t wait until our next visit. It’s definitely becoming beloved a summer tradition 💛

I had such a lovely experience with Britt and Josh during my time here!! They are wonderful, kind, and always considerate of everyone’s needs by promptly responding and ensuring their services were adequately provided! The beach is so wonderful and the property was clean and looked after!

I’m not sure why there’s so many negative reviews about the resort. I am IN LOVE with flathead lake resort, Brittain and Josh couldn’t be more kind and accommodating. Our air stream was so beautifully kept and decorated. You can tell they take real pride in their properties. We rented the clear bottom kayak which is quite frankly a MUST DO! Brittain ever helped us bring it down the beach and showed us the best places to kayak off too. The lake is SO CLEAR you can see to the bottom. It’s actually the CLEANEST lake in the world!!! I felt so revived and rejuvenated after swimming. The beach itself is so perfect, you can watch the sunset over the mountains and the moon rise. The stars reflecting off the lake at night is an experience in itself. We were honestly so sad to have to leave and will 10000% be back again. We’ve found a new home at flathead lake resort. Brittain and Josh made us feel so at home from the moment we arrived. Would give 10 stars if I could. Keep doing what you’re doing!! You have such a magical place!

We were an extended family party of 13 that rented 6 of the Flathead Lake Resort’s accommodations - the Yellow Cottage, 2 cabins and 3 campers. We stayed for a whole week over the 4th of July holiday and it was an amazing experience. The places themselves were so comfortable and thoughtfully decorated and supplied. We had everything we needed.
The location can’t be beat. We had access to a private beach on the lake that was just a short walk down the road. We brought some of our own water toys (kayaks and SUP’s) but rented more from the resort one day (definitely rent the Crystal kayak!). It was nice to have that option on site. The resort is a short drive from the adorable town of Big Fork and walking/paddling distance from restaurants and bars - so convenient. It was an easy drive to Glacier National Park, where we spent a very memorable day. We rented a pontoon boat for an entire day and were able to explore the lake, with stops at a few islands and inlets - highly recommend this.
The ease and simplicity of our experience at Flathead Lake Resort is what made it really special. Although it has all the modern conveniences, it isn’t “fancy”. The adults and kids had a great time just unplugging, spending hours a day on the beach in the water and nights at the bonfires on the property and beach. 4th of July fireworks on the beach was definitely a highlight!
The real treasure of the resort is Brittain, the owner and manager. Her kindness to our crazy group will never be forgotten. She was immediately responsive to all of our questions. The few issues we had with minor repairs were immediately addressed and fixed. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Brittain for the best vacation!

My grandparents started this space as the M & M Motels back in the 40's. First return visit in over 50 years. The energy of "Flathead" was alive and well. Britian and Josh have managed to keep alive true meaning of service. A great balance between business and heart.
The care we received was excellent with such kindness and careing. Britian was always available even joined our family for our hot dog roasting and smores!
Thank you Britain and Josh for keeping MY grandparents dream alive!
The Airstream trailer court is awesome! Great place to stay with a perfect location for all Bigfork, Flathead have to offer. With just a quick jaunt to Glacier Park, Bigfork State Park and numerous day hikes!

Such a lovely experience! I stayed in Big Sky Blue and it was so thoughtfully set up. It is a dry camper as advertised but there is a spigot on-site for potable water and a cooler box I filled with ice to keep my stuff chilled. The camper has electricity and a fan though the temp was always perfect with the cool summer evenings. The restroom/shower facilities are spotless and I loved being a minute walk from the lake. Staff was super responsive even at 1AM when my flight finally got in. Thank you so much to the staff there and highly recommend this for a glamping experience close to Glacier National Park.

Hello! 6/5 would stay again. We had a great trip! The RV is vintage but very well maintained, cozy, and clean. The fire was enjoyable and appreciated the water being so close. Didn't partake but very cool that you have the paddle boards and kayaks for rental. Thank you for your friendly hospitality. Will definitely recommend 😊

Love this place. Owners and manager were friendly, too. Room was very clean. Short walk to the lake, and the private beach access was perfect- chairs to use there, too. We were right next to the clubhouse room, which my kiddos liked to use to go hang out. Very nice extra space. Modern decor with a 60's vibe. No tv in the room, beware dependant folks. Great hotel for a book and lounging by the lake, peaceful place. Dogs were allowed.

Absolutely fantastic experience here, I cannot recommend it highly enough. Remember you are not paying for a 5 star resort, so dont disappoint yourself. But the tiny camper was perfectly clean and comfortable. The washrooms were perfectly clean, private and spacious. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. I even had to work 2 days of my stay and had zero issues but did bring my own wifi - theirs WAS also avail but I did not want to affect their bandwidth. The views of the lake and of the property were stunning and fairly private. Could not be happier with my stay here, THANK YOU to this fantastic resort!

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED my stay here. My only regret is not booking for a couple of days (I am moving cross country from the east coast and needed a place to rest). I fell in love with this area and even my short stay at Flathead Lake Resort was a memorable one! It is just walking distance from the beach and it is probably the most beautiful water/lake I have ever seen. The owners were super attentive and responsive; also, pet-friendly location!!! Do yourself a favor and experience this lovely resort!

I will most definitely be back ❤.

P.S. check out Max's Market while you're here. Lovely store and delicious cafe ❤

We stayed in the Holmes 1963 Streamline at Flathead Lake resort. It was our first glamping experience and it was great! That particular trailer has its own shower and toilet, kitchen sink, mini fridge and hot plate, as well as a comfy bed. The area was quiet and the lake was beautiful! The staff was very responsive and quick with any issues we came across. I would absolutely stay there again. The only thing I would mention is the location of the air conditioner is under the bed and above the bed area stayed quite warm, but otherwise it was great and we would go back!

We had such an amazing time at the Flathead Lake Resort! We stayed in the Holmes airstream and it was so comfortable! They made sure to let us know that the stove top was not working and quickly brought us a camping stove in case we decided to cook during our stay. Also, we rented paddle boards through the resort during our stay and it was so nice being able to take them to our private beach and explore the lake from there. I would definitely stay here and recommend it to our friends and family!!

Super accommodating. Offered to let me stay in a different camper when I messaged. It was a nice and quiet time away during my time off work. Beach access was nice and about a minute walk away. Grills available in 3 places that I saw as well as a fire pit on site and at beach access.

Great resort with better value than some accommodations nearby. We enjoyed staying in the cabin.
We found the mattress to be very firm.
A/C did not run well when the fan speed was high, had to be kept low.
Otherwise a great stay!

This was our second time here. We love the location with the crystal clear lake down the street, and kayaks and paddle boards available. The staff is so friendly and accessible. Everything is clean and well kept. We love the retro vibes of the place. Also able to walk to a few places nearby.

Josh and Brittain were extremely kind and accommodating. When the a/c failed in the camper we were originally assigned to, Josh tried his best to repair it and ultimately moved us into the larger camper next door. Being so close to the lake was amazing too. We’ll be back!

We were lucky enough to spend some time soaking up some much needed sun at Flathead Lake Resort in Montana and had a fantastic time there! The staff was so welcoming. Everyone that works there puts their heart and soul into the resort. The beach is gorgeous and well mantained.

We loved how accessible the beach was from the cabins. The resort rents paddle boards and kayaks and is a short paddle away from some great restaurants where you can pull your paddle board or kayak up for a quick snack before heading back on the water.

We spent 4 days at the resort and plan on coming back again. We loved how close the resort was to Glacier National Park, we did a great hike to Avalanche Lake and saw some beautiful scenery.

I especially loved how friendly all the staff was! When you stay at this beach front resort, you become apart of their family. The beach is kept extremely clean and tidy which gives off a very welcoming vibe. I would recommend this beach resort to anyone

We went to Flathead Lake Resort in Montana and had an amazing time. The staff was so friendly that we felt right at home from the moment we arrived! We loved everything about this beautiful resort, but our favorite part of it all is definitely the pristine beach with crystal clear waters.

The cabins and RV parking were so accessible to the beach, which allowed for paddle boarding or kayaking on a whim. The resort was close enough that we could stop by one of their nearby restaurants before getting back on our SUP. We only spent 4 days at the resort but plan on coming back again because it's such an easy escape from reality with all its scenic views!

The people at the resort go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The staff is incredibly friendly and they maintain a clean, well-manicured property that makes it seem like home away from home. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants an experience where hospitality resonates deep in your soul!

The resort wasn't fancy but we gave it five stars because we had a great time there. We stayed in Bird Island which had a comfortable bed and was very clean. There was a small, rocky beach with great swimming only a short walk away. We also enjoyed kayaking on the bay. A convenience store, hamburgers and pizza were a short drive away.
