Mountain Lake Lodge

So impressed staying here with my young kids (2 & 4). The room was great, better than the pictures. The amenities were a great perk. We loved the location and the size of the hotel. We would love to have had a group of families stay here next time!

Had a great time at the Mountain Lake Lodge on vacation! Not too far from Glacier National Park. Dog friendly (selected rooms) is very much appreciated. Dedicated parking spot for each room was amazing. Our room was very large and felt more like a small condo with a separate bedroom and a large living area with kitchenette and dining area for two. The room had a large balcony with views of Flathead Lake. There are many activities on site including a nice pool/spa area. We really enjoyed the local area around Bigfork MT as well, lots of recreation opportunities outside of Glacier National Park. We can’t wait to return again!

Rarely do I feel a hotel is "IMPRESSIVE" but Mountain Lake Lodge is just that! Our relatives live close by so usually we stay with them, but they were full for a family function so decided to book a room.

The property is beautiful and clean with a lovely view of Flathead Lake. We could literally lay in bed and look at the water! Our room was HUGE: Separate bedroom, large clean bathroom with nice toiletries, large living room complete with gas fireplace, sink, cabinets, small fridge, microwave, desk area and coffee maker. There were even 2 TVs. The HVAC worked well, looked newer, was quiet and even had a fan only feature which we love. A large deck with furniture overlooked the putting green, pool, and game area with Flathead Lake as the backdrop. It was peaceful and quiet. The room was fresh and clean, bedding was nice, service was cheerful and professional. Free breakfast was pastries, fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice. We loved the quality of the coffee. Only improvement suggestion is to provide more protein choices, maybe cold hard boiled eggs? This is our new favorite place! Also loved the assigned parking spot, no driving around late trying to get a spot. Lots of useful information provided in the room. Congratulations to whoever owns this beautiful property, you are doing a fabulous job, thank you!

We had a great experience here. The room was very clean and spacious (it even had a huge tub in it). There is a restaurant on site (I rate in a separate post) that is really good. The views are fantastic from many different places. They have lots of activities like Cornhole available. The infinity pool and hot tubs were not crowded and were clean. A great experience and would stay here again.

I absolutely loved our stay at MLL! Everything from check-in to checkout was pleasant. The staff are friendly and helpful. We grabbed dinner at the restaurant, then swam and soaked in the pool and hot tub while watching the sunset. Our room was great. Very spacious and quiet. The bed was not the most comfortable, although it did not prevent a good night's sleep. We would definitely stay here again!

We flew into Montana and "road tripped" through some of the state. We stayed at Mountain Lake Lodge for three nights, towards the end of our trip, and it was PERFECT! We had four in our party, parents and two daughters, 11 and 14. We had a separate bedroom, TWO bathrooms (one was a spacious half bath), a kitchen, and plenty of closet space. The girls enjoyed the pool, all of us enjoyed the family game room in the hotel's separate lobby building with Riley's Pub, and we especially loved the views! We had perfect weather until the end of the trip, and minimally used the outdoor games and activities, but enjoyed them when we could. The staff were friendly and helpful, and some had great recommendations!

Excellent hotel in a great location. Have been going for many years. The pool is beautiful. Rooms are spacious a d have a kitchenete. My only feedback for them is to provide dishwasher and utensils in the kitchen.

These guys are simply amazing!! Huge rooms .. can't beat the 24hr beautiful 2 hot tub outside the awesome pool, impeccable grounds with astonishing people .. and they welcome your fur babies.. such a special place.. don't hesitate this is a must book!! They go above and beyond with hospitality

First and foremost...this is a lodge, set up with a split campus. Now having said that, here is a spoiled rotten snobs review.

Yes, it's not full service. Yes their continental breakfast sucks...muffins and yogurt. Yes, there is no room service. Go someplace else if that breaks the deal.

For the rest of the real people...go there!!! I am already planning my next trip back. The in-room hot tubs, that fit us bigger people...yes I am "extra" in every sense of the word. The fireplace....gorgeous. The bed...so comfortable!! The spaciousness of the rooms, and comfort. The staff tries so hard to please.

The facility is dog friendly everywhere, with one set of rooms allocated for those with pets.. The restaurant is great!! the grounds are just stunning! the hot tubs, waterfall pool, fitness center, lounge and views... I didn't take enough photos!

My husband and I stayed here for the first time this weekend for our anniversary and we loved our experience here!

Pet friendly! Our dog has a medical condition and it’s easier for us to just bring her along. We’ve stayed in many different places and this was the nicest pet friendly lodging we’ve stayed in! If you travel with pets you know the rooms are usually just “meh”. When we got to our room I thought maybe it was a mistake. The room was huge! The vaulted ceiling was a nice touch too along with the fireplace. The decor and furniture were all really nice. They even leave your dog a little treat. There is a dog waste station with bags if you need them.

Clean and comfortable! From our room to the grounds, everything was really clean and nice! We used the hot tub (robes are provided in your room) and it was clean and really hot which we preferred. The staff were all very friendly and made us feel welcome with our little fur baby.

Convenient location. Beautiful views of the mountains and the lake peaking from behind the trees. Riley’s Pub is located in the lodge for dinner and drinks. We ate there our second night and everything was great! There is a gas station and small liquor store within walking distance which we utilized for snacks and drinks for our room. The lodge is right off a busy road but the rooms are tucked away from any roadside noise.

If you’re looking for something tucked away and quiet, look no further! We would love to come back in the summer time when the pool is available!

This is a beautiful, small property with amazing views of Flathead Lake. There is not actual lake access but there is a lovely infinity pool and lawn area. The suites are spacious, quiet, comfortable and you will not want to leave! Staff was terrific.

Love this place...come here for date night all the time. Great location, great rooms, awesome hot tubs! Jacuzzi fireplace suites. Pet friendly...can't beat it!!

For the cost, these rooms are amazing. Suits with a full living room, fireplace, balcony with gorgeous views and even a little kitchenette! Very clean, nicely finished with higher end linens. The restaurant below (I think the upper one is set to open soon) was delicious and has a cozy atmosphere, we had the fettuccine. The outdoor dining area is cute too. We arrived at the restaurant about 30 minutes from closing and they were still very gracious and friendly, no pushing out the door right as closing neared. Front desk at check in was also very friendly & helpful. Would bring kids and stay again, courtyard with games and infinity pool (laundry on site too!) make for a perfect couples or family getaway spot.

Hidden gem! Great place for a winter escape! Hot tub is open 24/7...Big rooms... fire place... friendly staff. Great view! Fresh baked cookies! The game room is awesome for the kiddos!

Our stay was very pleasant, room was clean and fireplace worked well. Laura at the front desk was extremely helpful and very kind! Overall a delightful stay!

I can’t say enough good things about it. The lake view and pool/hot tub area was like none I’ve ever seen, so wonderful. This place is going to explode with popularity if they advertise a little more and communicate all of their amenities to their guests at check-in and online. Do not hesitate booking with them. We didn’t even notice or care that we were a short ways off the water because the resort itself, views and wonderful staff made up for it. Great for couples and families, plus laundry access & ice a nice touch. They have a new restaurant Pesca that was one of our best meals in the area. I hope they find a way to promote and use the lodge a bit more even for guests - it’s beautiful & underutilized. We might cry as we leave.

My husband and I stayed at Mountain Lake Lodge for our anniversary and it was lovely. The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the pool and hot tub were so relaxing with the most amazing view! We had a delicious dinner at Pesca (highly recommend the Walleye!) and we overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. We had an issue the next morning at breakfast, but the manager, Kim, more than resolved the issue and was a pleasure to work with (Thank you, Kim!). We will definitely return!

Absolutely love this place! Stayed there 3 times now. The views are exceptional. Rooms are always impeccably clean. Staff is so friendly and helpful! Just an all around great place!

Wonderful place! Great service, rooms terrific, awesome pool and two hot tubs. Wonderful view of Flathead Lake from our individual balcony. You want to stay here! Store next door for any supplies you may need.

We called early yesterday morning and were able to get an incredibly nice room at a wonderful rate! Disclosure it is the off season- by that’s our favorite time to go to Bigfork! I believe I spoke to Jim on the phone and he was also incredibly helpful during check in. Very clean rooms, fantastic staff, and an overall great place to stay. Will for sure be back!
