Swan River Inn

I loved this place! I finally achieved my serene calm at this place. I really wanted to find a place I could have a cup of tea in the morning with privacy and a beautiful view, and I found it here.

We lucked out on grabbing a campsite in the middle of summer and grabbed the only hotel room we could find - here. ended up being just a GREAT experience. quiet, quaint, beautiful scenery, charming room. The room, French Countryside i think?, has new flooring, updated walls, super comfy bed, beautiful accent pieces and a partial view of the lake! The lady running the front lobby was just the sweetest thing - she's been the owner since '91. To relax, we took a dip in Flathead lake off the dock, about a 2 minute walk from our room. really, a great experience.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time in Bigfork and our experience at the Swan River Inn was great. The room we were originally booked for (Safari) was accidentally taken by a self check-in client. Marguerite immediately and with no issue upgraded us to the Geisha Suite. It was a gorgeous full suite corner unit right on the lake with it's own patio area. The special details that made the Geisha Suite unique were beautiful and interesting, as opposed to cheesy and cheap like a theme room could have gone. The whole experience was a very laid back vibe. The room had a full kitchen so we bought some beers and brought our leftovers back for a late night snack. I would definitely stay here again and request the Geisha Suite.

Loved our stay at Swan River Inn. The owner was an amazing sweet lady. She showed us the rooms since they have themed rooms and let us pick the one we liked the best. The whole room was very cleanand beautiful . The bed was super comfy. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The whole experience was amazing!!!!

Decided to skip camping that night and booked a last minute room. Was not disappointed! We were in the arabian room and it was beautiful! If you're looking for a run of the mill holiday Inn like hotel, this is not for you. If you want a place with a lot of character, look no further! We loved our night here!

This place is AWESOME!! Hazel and Margaurite are both amazing and the Arabian Knights room is gorgeous. I'll be back to try another one of the themed rooms. Log Cabin or Tuscan Suites house up to six, but for now... We've only got two and my pup.

After a long drive we needed a little break and found this place entirely by accident. The door was opened and we walked right in. Margrit, the proprietor, said they were closed but was gracious enough to let us get a cup of (delicious!) coffee and come sit on the gorgeous balcony overlooking the lake. It was lovely and peaceful, and if we didn't have a place booked we would have loved to stay there (it is VERY charming).

I was in town visiting my family and my mom was part of the dinner theatre show at Swan River Inn. It turn out to be a great venue for the show. The attention to detail makes every corner of the building interesting. Dinner and cocktails with a nice breeze from Flathead Lake. Check out the themed rooms!

I did not stay at the Inn. I booked the room and then called to cancel the booking within the hour. The lady was pleasant and extremely accommodating.
She emailed me a cancelation notice within 5 minutes.

We had to last minute stay overnight in Big Fork, and got last minute accommodations at Swan River Inn's Safari Room. Bo who checked us in was super sweet and made sure we were comfortable, she even lent us a shovel to dig our car out of the snow :) Very great view of the lake, super large and comfortable beds, would recommend coming back!

Beautiful hotel. We stayed in the Safari suite agter an upgrade from the wonderful staff. Room decor was very cool. Bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.

We were upgraded to the Victorian room. Absolutely beautiful room. Elegant with a view of the bay. All rooms are unique. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Stayed in the crystal palace, and it was one the most beautiful rooms ever! The view is amazing. Owner is friendly and helpful, this is definitely the best place to stay downtown Bigfork.

Very accomodating! Due to plumbing issue we couldn't stay in the airbnb that we rented. They had vacancy and room was very clean and nice. View is awesome!

Margarit, the owner was very accommodating and helpful. She gave several great recommendations! The Inn is boutique and very welcoming! Loved staying here and would highly recommend!

This place is different))) we spent a night in the "lace and leather" room. It's decorated with a lot of love and nice details!

Great rooms in Bigfork! Loved how spacious the rooms are and everyone was nice! I'd recommend this place to anyone!

I didn't really get to see much...but hopefully on my next visit I can have a detailed tour so that I can give a thorough and honest review.
