Timbers Motel

The perfect place to stay while I was in Montana. We weren't far from Flathead Lake or Glacier National Park. My sister, her best friend and I stayed there and it didn't disappoint. The rooms were clean, the atmosphere was peaceful and the sauna and pool were an added bonus. If I make it back to Montana someday, I'd like to stay here again. The rates were not bad either. I would recommend this to anyone who was traveling in the area. Thanks for making our stay comfortable and memorable.

We stayed there on the way to Canada and then decided to stay again on the way back. Rooms were very roomy and clean. Outdoor hot tub is definitely hot as well was the sauna. It's located in a great spot to hit downtown or when you want to hit the road and explore. It's not a 5 star hotel, but I definitely felt comfortable and very welcome there. Definitely will stay there again if we decide to head that way again.

First, the staff...one word... AMAZING!!! Second was this is an awesome classic motel experience. The pool and hot tub were great. The room was clean and inviting. The location on the hillside made the property unique.

This was my first day into Montana and Glacier National Park...what a greeting!!!

We had a great stay at the Timbers Motel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Allowed us to check in early. Room was clean and beds very comfortable. We took advantage of the pool, hot tub and sauna. We booked a second floor room for a few bucks more and were happy we did. A better view and a bit quieter, although there was very little noise. Bigfork was a good choice for restaurants, shopping and access to Glacier NP of course.

Chose this place because it was conveniently located in Bigfork and close to our race venue for the weekend. Ir was also close to restaurants ans stores. The lady who checked us in was very friendly, the rooms were comfy, lots of room, bright, the beds were comfortable, there was a room safe, fridge, microwave and pot for boiling water and the had parking right in front. Our friends took advantage of both the hot tub and sauna and enjoyed it thoroughly. We did ask to have our room cleaned on Sunday and it wasn't but we had enough towels and soap etc so we were ok. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Every time I called the staff was helpful and friendly. We came for a Spartan race, and when we arrived they had a hose out front to wash off our mud and a bag in our room to separate our race clothes from our other luggage. These little things were very thoughtful! The rooms were perfect for us and very clean. It was too cold outside to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but the location, staff, service, and rooms were great. 10/10 would - and will - stay again!

We stayed at Timbers over the Thanksgiving holiday with our dogs. The room was perfect and the staff was amazing. We'll be staying there again whenever we're in the Flathead Valley.

Great staff, enjoyable to work with when adding a pet stay. Rooms are super clean. My daughter's dog was offered a dog bed and bowls. Nice little walking area for dogs. Overall a great location and can't beat the price! Thank you Ashley and Mya for making my daughters stay wonderful!

Great time, staff were super helpful, 13 kids in our group between ages 1 and 12 and they all had a great time. Well maintained pool onsight and a nice park just around the corner. They enjoyed talking to the maintenance man, "the guarder of the pool" and started watching for him anytime he walked past haha. Very responsive and kind staff. Rooms were clean and well kept with mini fridge and microwave plus hot water kettle for tea/coffee.

Great location, less than an 1/2 mile to the regional park or hike along the river.
Bigforks has everything you need within walking distance.
Rooms are big, clean and staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Dog friendly $25 extra night which standard.
Has a pool, hot tub and sauna.Quiet at night.
Stayed there a week and had a blast.

Great simple stay. Good spot in town at a reasonable rate without all the big hotel hoopla. The best part … My stay was 2 months ago and I finally realized that something I had been looking for might be there. Lone behold, they had kept it safe this whole time and I didn’t even realize they had sent an email to notify that I had the day I checked out. Thanks Timber, solid establishment.

The staff and manager were awesome. Like everybody else in Montana, they were short staffed and our rooms weren't ready when we showed up. When the manager learned we had a shuttle to catch for a wedding, she asked Gabby (who's awesome) if she could jump over and clean one room for us to get ready for the wedding. Gabby was buzzing around like a bee, jumped over to our room, got it cleaned, and was super helpful. Throughout the weekend we saw just how hard of a worker Gabby was, especially for a young person. We were especially impressed when we saw her carrying a huge load of laundry through the parking lot. A guest stopped her and asked if they could have an iron in their room, she dropped the laundry off, delivered the iron and a board to the room and jumped in to cleaning the next one. We hope your work ethic will serve you well in the future Gabby. They made the best of a short staffed situation. Thanks again guys.

What a good experience! This motel was so clean, and the management was so nice. The beds were very comfy and everything worked. They went the extra mile the next morning when my battery was dead and maintenance man gave me a jump rather then having to call for help. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautiful! VERY clean. I could tell they took extra precautions to sanitize. Bed and pillows VERY comfortable! Only negative is they have no carpet and, unless you walk softly, it sounds like a herd of buffalo...like the people upstairs. Next time, I'll request a 2nd floor room instead of downstairs. Definitely recommend, despite the clumping neighbors.

Best little place to spend a week in the beautiful outdoors. The rooms are clean, quite, and there is so much to do in the area. Staff is downright amazing. Bigfork’s downtown is a hidden gem. The lake is a lot of fun, and glacier is only 40 minutes away. We recommend this place to all our friends in Washington when they venture out East.

Love the Timbers Motel. Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean and quiet. Location is great, easy to drive in and out of. Pool is also well kept and nice. Tube TVs are a blast from the past, but you hardly use them anymore - they have good wifi anyways. We have stayed here once before, and will keep staying here whenever we are in the area.

Fantastic service from the front desk, 5 stars for the staff! Motel rooms were very comfortable, and nearby cozy Montana dinner spots. This was my first trip to MT and I greatly appreciated the service, cleanliness of the rooms, and the heated pool!

Very convenient and affordable stay in Big Fork...right by Flathead Lake and literally across the street from a solid distillery and kayak/paddleboard rental. Rooms very nice and boasts a pool, hot tub and outdoor grassy area for lounging and reading. Great home base for us as we went up to Glacier National Park.

I can be quite picky when it comes to places to stay and was pleasantly surprised by The Timbers Motel. The rooms are well-kept, the beds are clean and comfy and the bathrooms are spotless (believe me, I check this first!). If you're looking for a reliable, well- cared for motel close to the lake, I highly recommend The Timbers Motel!!!

Large rooms and comfy bed (new this year per front desk). Has microwave, small fridge and a safe. Sink and mirror is outside the bathroom which we like. Nice, simple, clean and affordable. Gal at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.
