Ruth's Dolls & Memories Museum

Ruth's Doll Museum is amazing! There are 1000's of dolls and she has a story that goes with everyone of them. Took me back to my childhood and triggered so many wonderful memories. I highly recommend stopping by and seeing this magnificent collection that Marlene has put together. Best part is the location! It is conveniently located right off hwy 50 on the way to Tahoe. If you ever get the chance, stop by and see for yourself what a wonderful place this is.

I love this museum!! Over 4000 square feet with over 5000 dolls. I have been a bunch of times and I see something different every time I go! I had no idea there was such a wonderful doll museum so close to home.

Had a wonderful experience at this amazing doll/history museum. Ruth took us through each room, explaining where the dolls came from. She also hand-made many of the dolls. I highly recommended this to everyone! Ruth will restore your faith in human kindness!

My cousin collected many dolls from the time she was a little girl. I saw the ad for Ruth's Dolls & Memories Museum, and we spent some time there recently. It was just amazing for doll collectors and any one else who likes to walk down memory lane. The museum is housed in a large building, with the dolls and memorabilia arranged and organized by time and subject. My cousin recognized two of her old dolls and many, many more she had never seen before. This is a treasure no one should miss. Marlene Ruth is a great guide, and takes a personal interest in anyone who walks thru the door of her museum. Make a point to visit the next time you are in the Pollock Pines vicinity.

A true treasure on the way to Tahoe. Owner Marlene is happy to show guests around her private collection of dolls, GI joes and other collectibles. Each exhibit has a story and museum is open and had proper covid procedures. Highly recommend for anyone with kids, or interested in a price of Americana

I was amazed by the number of dolls she has, and they're for guys too! If you are going thru Pollock Pines you need to see this. Give yourself at least 1/2 hour to see it.
