This is my favorite butcher!

The staff is very friendly, and are always available to help if you need it.

The store is clean and well-maintained.

They had a bunch of stuff that I was unable to find at a normal grocery store, like chicken liver!

I love their croissants and banana cookies because they have amazing pastry.

A wide variety of fresh ingredients are available for you to shop here, including all seafood, chicken, beef, and pork products.

An excellent butcher that I highly recommend!

Wow....what a great place to stumble upon! The most beautiful and clean butcher and meat case I have seen! I am not from the area and ran across it on my drive. I will be making the 35 min drive to this place again. What a butcher should be!

I am VERY pleased with The Farmer's Rail's response to a problem. Originally, I had ordered a product that turned out not to be exactly what I expected. WOW, DID THEY BEND OVER BACKWARDS TO MAKE IT RIGHT FOR ME! They are now my butcher!!

Every town across the US should have a place like this. Rustic/beautiful location and building which makes this place feel cozy and local. It's not just a pretty shop though, High High high quality meats including top grade Wagu, Dry Aged charcuterie and steaks, and amazing cheese as well. Just go visit. it's a must.

Old school butcher shop and deli. The feel when you walk in this place is amazing! Even though it’s brand new, you feel like you are walking into a old butcher shop from 100 years ago. Locally raised meats from Brunty Farms and amazing deli meats!

What an awesome market! The prices are reasonable, the quality is excellent! So many things to choose from. I bought some cookies and croissants all I can say is that snickerdoodle cookie tasted just like my mimis recipe! The meats I bought are beautiful!! The ribeye steak I bought and cooked today was phenomenal, along with the broccoli rabe. Excellent service, and the ladies are so friendly!! You have a new customer I will be back!! Thank you

The family and I wanted a nice dinner stopped in for some fish. Ended up with some really nice grouper (to do on the smoker) and stuffed rabbit for surf and turf. The rabbit was recommended by the staff and the staff was all very kind. I had my father in law with me from out of town and he loved the experience. And the cuts were perfect !!

Nothing makes my tummy feel better than locally sourced food from friendly people. I have buying poultry from brunty farms for years at the countryside farmers market and now it is all available 6 days a week. Brilliant!

Try the Italian chicken bratwurst.

Another thing I noticed, I was pulling out of the parking lot 5 minutes after closing time and a pickup pulled up. The employee stayed open for one last shopper. Nice.

Called for special order. “Butcher in basement”. Asked for my name/# : phone hangs up. Money goes elsewhere lol . Maybe I’ll try again, maybe…seems you guys don’t know what your specialty is. it’s a butcher? Or a restaurant? Figure it out. If your going to put it into a category of butcher the people answering the phone need to know what they are doing.

The butcher in the basement sounds like a one guys show with a hostess pretending not to care/care about the place at the same time.

Great food! Little bit of slow service at the bar at the cuyahoga falls location but still 5 stars food was amazing you can definitely tell a difference and the selection of spices a d sauces you can get is undefeated. Great pastry selection as well, not bad pricing for supporting local would definitely go 2 times a week even for a quick pick up for a healthy dinner!

I have been wanting to stop by for a while and finally made it in. The counter was clean and the staff was quite friendly. I picked up some lamb and some beef bacon at a reasonable price. I was not impressed with the current selection of choice ribeye as there was not much marbling and and had almost no cap. the prime, however, was beautiful, I went ahead and invested in a steak that, for the cost, had better have been fed only ancient organic grains and grasses and water from a glacial spring, while a professional harpist lulled it to sleep in a pasture of lilac and moonbeams. As I took my first bite, thinking to myself, "this steak had better taste as rich as I will have to be to ever buy one again," I was punched in the mouth with flavor, juiciness, and tenderness unparalleled... The bovine harpist they must be hiding at their farm is totally worth it, as was the prime ribeye. it needed nothing more than salt and pepper and some hickory smoke. fantastic beef. I will gamble on the choice next time simply on the quality of the prime.

Called ahead for a prime rib. Picked up and when I got home, saw it was not trimmed. There was a couple lb of fat that I was charged for. So the owner Brad, reached out and made it right plus some. He refunded me for 3lbs ($90+). That’s called doing the right thing. Above and beyond my expectation for remedy. Thanks Brad and we’ll see you guys again soon.

I stop in here weekly so I thought it was time to write a review. Everything is top-notch- beef, pork, chicken, fish...you can't go wrong. We always have a selection of FR sausages in our freezer for those nights when we can't get there. But most of the time, we're running in to grab dinner. The great thing is you can buy everything you need for dinner and not just the protein. There are veggies, pasta, snacks, cheese, charcuterie, and even dessert. We are so lucky to have this place so close.

AMAZING! Fantastic staff, prompt service (even for an opening day!!), very clean and decor is beautiful! I asked for the best ribeyes they had on hand, and man did they deliver! Cooked my steaks for dinner and they were perfect! Can’t wait to dig into all my other goodies and I’m already planning another trip for later this week!

Went there for dinner recently and was pleasantly surprised that they had a butcher shop and store as well. Food is delicious and they have some interesting selections at their store. Plan on buying some meat at some point too.

This would be a great place to buy everything you need to make a killer charcuterie board, after you have a meal first of course!
