Estero River Outfitters

My husband & I had a great day on the river yesterday! Everything was super easy and seamless. We arrived and the lady in the office was helpful getting us set up with two single kayaks quickly. We had to sign a simple waiver before going out & leave one photo ID with her while out. We upgraded from regular kayaks ($17.50/2hr) to kayaks with better seats ($22.50/2hr) and it was definitely worth it! The seats were comfortable and the kayaks were very nice. All staff was super friendly! We headed “down River” as suggested by staff, which is towards the ocean, and it was beautiful. Some shade in the beginning but then it opens up to full sun - don’t forget sunscreen! We saw 3-4 manatee on our way out and again on our way back in! Definitely the highlight of our adventure. We also saw tons of other wildlife (turtles, several birds, fish, etc). Would highly recommend this place! We will be back for another day trip soon.

This place was great. The staff were friendly. The cashier was sweet. My boy and I had a great time. Very nice options they have. The views were great and we seen turtles and 2 dolphins. Just a nice relaxing adventure.

I love this place. The customer service is always amazing and the prices are great! The kayaks are really nice and they have just about any style you want. I'll definitely continue to come back!!

Fabulous few hours on the Estero river. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and explained all the options for going up and down the river. Lots of different equipment to choose from. Fabulous shop. Highly recommend them. We couldn’t of asked for a better time.

Estero River Outfitters is so awesome! The staff are all very friendly and accommodating, and kayaking on the Estero River is blissful! Calm, peaceful and full of nature (but not the ferocious kind). I recently took friends who were vistiing from NY and they LOVED it. We will be back again!

Estero River Outfitters is such great and fun way to spend your day! The staff are incredible and had great attitudes. The prices were reasonable compared to other places that rent kayaks. And the best part is that the scenery was BEAUTIFUL! Will definitely be back 😆

I can't say enough good about this place and the staff. Everyone is super nice and helpful. The owners, Jeff and Justin, are so knowledgeable and willing to discuss and answer all your questions about the kayaks. My dad is shopping for a peddle kayak, and we have been able to rent and demo the ones he looking at and im sure we have talked their ears off with questions but again they have been so helpfull! You can't beat being able try before you buy.

Amazing selection of different types of kayaks and awesome staff. Albert went above and beyond by actually reaching out to me in a Facebook group when I asked about any kayaks in my budget. I came into the shop today and he recognized me and walk me through the entire kayak, gave me some information on kayaking apps/ways to fish.

Couldn’t of had a better experience. Would definitely recommend them and the next time I buy a kayak, I’ll make sure to ask for Albert

I have nothing but great things to say about this business! It was very refreshing to have multiple people from this company provide excellent customer service to help me find the missing part for my Yakima truck rack (plus they even called me back when they told me they were going to!). From when I first called them to when I visited in person they were able to get me exactly what I needed. I had an amazing experience with Ester River Outfitters and I strongly recommend that everyone use them for all of your Kayaking and vehicle rack system needs!

Great store! Super helpful. We talked to I believe her name was Kristen. She was very knowledgeable and helped us out a ton. Definitely recommend if you need kayak parts and accessories, and it looks like they had a great selection of rentals also.

Highly recommend. Amazing follow up and service after purchase of our Hobie kayak. Awesome that you can test drive right there in the river.

Went down Estero River and hit up Mound Key. Got back quite late, not expecting how long it would take, but the workers there were awesome and nice to get to know!

I have been a patron to this establishment for 10 years or more. Family run. Always welcoming, providing great service with quality information & products for Kayaking, paddle boards, and canoes. And you can't miss out on their fishing tackle shop where they can set you up for a day of fishing while out on the water or new tackle to add to your collection. Whether you're new to water sports and looking to Rent for a great day on the Estero River or you're looking to test product before Buying..Estero Outfitters is the place to go !!! (Yes... I love this place and dont shop anywhere else ) If you haven't tried them out yet, get on over there! Remember sunscreen, water, and snacks if you're going out for the day!! Stay safe on the water, and maybe I will see you out there!!

I can't say enough at how terrific these guys (and gals) are at this business.

I was caught in a jam recently when I needed to use my Yakima Sky Box cargo carrier for a long distance trip, but I misplaced my keys for it. I called Yakima and they referred me to Justin at Estero River Outfitters. Justin helped immediately. He got his trusted associate, Skip, to operate on my Sky Box, found the right replacement key set to use and had the lockset reinstalled and ready for me to pick up within 45 minutes after I came to them with my problem. I was packed and on my way thirty minutes after.

No "geez, we can schedule you next week when we have an opening" or "you know, that will involve emergency service and premium pricing". No, Justin and Skip just took care of me like I was their only and most important customer. The work was perfect, the cost was reasonable, they got me right in to meet my needs, they just got it done the way you'd hope could happen.

One other thing: The store has ALL the right stuff and all the right brands.

One classy, excellent place to feel perfectly at home when needing outfitting goods and services. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

This is a wonderful place. I've rented their kayaks to enjoy the river alone and with groups, every time has always been really enjoyable. I am the mother of a daughter who is severally handicap, She is not mobile or verbal. I brought her a couple of times, and every time the staff was very accommodating and patient. There is a limit of things I am able to do with her, so I am very thankful for this wonderful place.

Amazing family run establishment. They rent and sell anything from kayaks to canoes to stand up paddle boards. The wife and I had a blast on our three hour kayak rentals. You drop right in to the Estero River off the dock behind the shop. It's an excellent place for beginners to learn the ropes.

We were with a larger group and rented several canoes. These guys were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! What a beautiful area to canoe or kayak if you rent from them. I didn't go inside their store but understand they have everything you could possibly need.

We went kayak fishing with Justin, and had the perfect half day. Kayaks were easy to use and paddling around using the foot pedals was fun even without the fishing. The canals held a variety of wildlife - iguana, a dead python, a bunch of cool birds.

Justin is a very experienced teacher and guide, with the necessary patience! We each caught fish - largemouth bass and peacock bass (a Brazilian stowaway apparently).

Will definitely come back
