Discount Beverage Depot (Liquor store)

I was looking for a specific bottle of rum, and called from Chicago, IL. two weeks ago. I was planning on visiting for a week and wanted to buy as many bottles as I could because it is hard to find. The owner was willing to hold the 5 remaining bottles he had for me, and was very curtious and accomadating. I would definitely recommend this store, and definitely will go back. Jason

I like this place. They are nice to me . And I hear they are about to start up a delivery service for locals that dont want to travel . You know because of the situation we are in. So from what I have been told for a small delivery fee you can have all your package store needs meet. Please call early if delivery service is needed and have cash ready. This should help out the people in the community that are elderly and should be staying indoor . Give them a call.

The owners are wonderful people who make me laugh a little after a long day. That being said they are not soft, and I think that’s why reviews on here are what they are. Super convenient location and always willing to help you pick out a nice bottle of wine.

Have been shopping here for five years because they carry the craft beers I love and can only get here!

Nice little liquor store with a good selection with non-secondary market pricing. I was looking for bourbons that are hard to find or not sold in NC and had a great chat with the shop owner and would have picked up more than one hard to find bottle if I didn't want to stay married ;)

Rude customer service from the woman who owns the store. Looking through other reviews, it seems I'm not the only customer who has had a poor experience with this nasty, miserable woman.

I came in looking for a particular brand of hard seltzer. She initially asked if she could help me. When I explained what I was looking for, she seemed offended that I was looking for something they didn't carry. Odd, but no problem - they had many other brands, so I thought I might try something different. I was looking for something low carb, so was using my phone to look up carb count information on the internet for several different products. She then asked me to leave the store until I was done "texting". I explained to her that I was looking for carb count information on the internet. She proceeded to interrogate me as to where I lived and how long I have lived here, and then said I should come back later so her husband could help me. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. Plenty of other businesses in the area I would rather patronize.

These people are awful. Rude and arrogant. The extra time in the car to shop elsewhere will be well worth it. You will probably actually save money in the long run and not have to encounter these miserable people. Google really needs to add negative star ratings for holes in the earth like this. Not sure how places like this keep their doors open.

Just like everybody already said, these people are rudest, most miserable human beings I’ve ever handed my money to. The woman asked my wife is she found what she was looking for, my wife said yes, and the woman said then get out (wife was waiting for me to finish exchanging the beer that i bought that expired in 2011) There’s far better:more deserving places to spend your money, and not be treated like absolute garbage.

Came on a Saturday night says they close at 9pm. I arrived at 8:40 and they were locked with the ‘open’ sign still on.
