Fareway Meat and Grocery

Just had the best order pick up experience! This was my first time doing order pick up Fareway, I didn’t even know you could do online ordering! Ordering online was very user-friendly and I revived a text when my order was ready. Clicked the link to let them know I was there and they were out within 2 minutes! Love this Fareway!

I have been going here for years. This is one of the best Fareways around. The manager and staff are all very helpful and polite. They have great prices and a wonderfully stocked meat counter. While the store could use an update, I feel thst it does not detract from the overall quality of service. Bravo, Fareway!

This place is great. I had my 2 kids with me and I forgot milk, the cashier watched them so I could go grab some, (her idea not mine). She was very nice and courteous. And the young man that helped me take my groceries out to my car was super sweet. He talked to my son about coming to work with him when he's old enough (my son is 6). The people who work here are very friendly and so willing to help you.

Awesome meat counter staff and cashiers!! Employees sack groceries accordingly and not horribly heavy. They sack the cleaning supplies separately and my bread products are never smashed!!!!! I love having a friendly employee carry my groceries to my car. I do not feel I should have to scan my own groceries, sack my own groceries , and carry my groceries to my car!! The prices are not cheaper at the Big Name Groceries stores and there is terrible customer service employees. I love Fareway and try never to shop anywhere else. 💖

Always clean in the store. The workers are always willing to help out willing to stop what they were doing to show you where the item is.

Best grocery store ever. I don't shop anywhere else for groceries. Everyone is always so kind and I love the customer service with helping get your groceries into the car. Also I love the fact they are closed on Sundays...

Best Fareway in a 100 mile radius. I travel 45 minutes just to come to this one. Best selection out of all of them. Best prices. Best service. Best.

Clean store and nice employees

Fareway has a nice selection of products and their produce is excellent. The fresh meat counter can't be beat! Staff are kind and courteous. The store is always clean and tidy.

Was double charged for my jar of beef gravy 2.89. Didn't have time to go back in store. Thought about calling them but wouldn't be able to go back until tomorrow. They were extremely busy when I was there. I love Evansdale Fareway though.

I really love Fareway. These stores don't exist where I'm from, so it was a very pleasant surprise when I first visited one. It almost feels like the small town mom & pop grocery back home.
I prefer the Evansdale location to the one in Waterloo, although I like both. I prefer the layout in Evansdale and it doesn't get quite as busy.
The employees are always friendly and helpful, especially the butchers. The butcher counter is their big draw. Most stores, if you get anything from the butcher, it's considerably more expensive... not at Fareway. I rarely buy meat anywhere else.

Was at Evansdale Fareway this morning with an overloaded cart and two lists to consult. As always the cashier and carry out services were excellent and efficient. Thank you Emma for your kind and gentle words today.

Everyone was so polite with a smile on there face,I was looking for honey.eat department told where to find it.I live at Fox meadows, sometimes I have to order online groceries at Walmart and Hyvee,since I dont drive anymore,I wish use had delivery then I wouldn't have to order from other stores,otherwise I love going to your store.

Normally I love Fareway's meat counter. But tonight I went in for a ribeye. I wanted a thick cut one. The kid behind the counter asked if I saw anything I liked, which I responded "not really". He just stood there and did nothing. There were more steaks underneath but apparently I wasn't get that kind of service. I picked one but didn't get the one I had specified. What I got was thick on one end, very thin on the other, piece that should have been ground to hamburger. Didn't want to drive back with the service as it was. Toughest piece of ribeye I have ever had in my life! The dog had a good meal anyway, and I got a great steak from Hy-Vee.

This is a nice, small- town Fareway. It's set up very much like the store in Boone, the home of the company, which made it very easy to find what I needed quickly. The cashier was also very friendly.

I am treated very well whenever I visit Fareway!
I love the smallness of the store so you can find things easily!
They are very competitive with all of the other stores and you know that price are matched instantly!
Wish the Evansdale Fareway had the bakery!

Regular sales on items I enjoy, goods other groceries don't always carry, friendly and helpful staff, fast checkouts, and nice parking with cart assistance. If I have the choice I always get my groceries here.

Fresh meets counter with personal service that is simply the best always friendly & fast. And thy put your purchases in your vehicle. Now thats great service!
