I got my passport renewed today and Teri was very friendly and helpful! It was a quick walk-in experience.

I love this place. One stop quit shop photo, makeup, groceries. And they have a clearance section. Who doesn't love that. They differ from store to store. Usually they all have the stuff you need. And their candy section is great. I highly recommend this spot.

Russ the assistant manager has always been very kind and helpful. Even when a difficult customer was in line behind us, he took his time to help us and deserves to be promoted, in my opinion!

Pharmacy drive-thru:
I went before 3pm, was first in line, pharm tech greeted me right away, got meds and paid within 10min. Really easy, no extra "pick up" charge, and convenient.

Inside:
The store is clean and usually low traffic. Great prices on nuts and occassionally soda packs (3/$9!). I like their generic pain meds and anti-cold meds. Plus, they usually have good deals on seasonal items. Oh yea, they still print real photos and make calendars, mugs, and passport photos!

I don't typically write reviews but in this case, I need to. A few weeks ago I was having issues with my new insurance but needed a refill and so the pharmacist gave me an emergency supply to hold me over for a few days so that I didn't have to go without my medication. Wow. That amazed me and I was SO grateful! Today I went to file for reimbursement for that same refill and found that I have misplaced my receipt. I called and the manager Jason was able to locate the receipt for me, saving me almost $140! These acts are simple customer service but truly made a huge difference to me and I am very grateful. Customer service like this should be the norm, but since it isn't, this Walgreens will surely keep my business at the pharmacy and for any other convenience needs! Highly recommend.

Mohammed behind the pharmacy counter is EXCELLENT!! He takes the time to ask questions to be sure you know what you are getting medication wise, and explain and answer any questions you have. I honestly have never felt like a pharmacist cared or knew what he was talking about so much in my life. And he cared. It was the best experience I’ve ever had at a pharmacy. Thank you, Mohammed, you made my night so much better.

This Walgreens (6601 McKee Road, Madison, WI) is very clean and the people are super friendly and helpful. The pharmacists are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Pharmacy has a drive thru window. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this location.
