Williams Mountain Market & Deli

When you’re roadtripping in the middle of nowhere and cell service is questionable at best, it’s nice to know places like this still exist. Friendly faces, a clean bathroom in which to change our 10 month old, and a grill! (I wouldn’t say ‘deli’ - there was neither a cold case nor any traditional deli items to speak of) The menu included an old school highlights like bologna, hot ham, burgers, corn dogs, and crinkle fries. And everything was delicious! I’d much rather patronize a place like this than another fast food chain any day!

Nice little country store with gas. Stopped here to refuel the dirt bikes while we were exploring Coker Creek. No issues with the pumps and the store has a nice variety of stuff.

This is true country. The way things used to be. Wonderful food, like stepping back in time. Well worth the stop.

Very nice stop on motorcycle trip through the area. Good coffee and biscuit, owner very nice. Enjoyed my chat about running marathons with him. Old country store feel, which is getting harder to find in this world we live in.

Traveling up from Helen I had a late breakfast. My meal was very good, hot and served quickly. (Okay, I was the only customer. The main breakfast crowd had passed through between 6 and 8 that morning.) The food was great and the store and restaurant seating very clean. Shopping included local art and craft items from local artists.

Hurricane Florence caused us to change the route of our annual road trip from England, and we made our way to Knoxville via Macon and Dahlonega instead of the Atlantic Coast. Lunchtime stop at the Williams' place was excellent. Food was good and the folks there were welcoming and interesting. Recommended to all if you are on Highway 68.

They have the very best burgers, fries, Phili Cheese steak, fried chicken and so much more. Add to that the fact that the service is spectacular and you simply cannot beat Davis Mountain Market and Deli for fast and delicious food served with a passion for excellence all the time, every time!

The chicken is not your ordinary Southern fried chicken either. It is slightly sweet and yet still manages to be savory too. My mouth is watering just thinking about all the wonderful choices for breakfast lunch or dinner.

But then they have a wonderful selection of deserts as well. From hand scooped ice creams to sundaes and milkshakes, you best just go ahead and put it on your itinerary to stop and get your next meal there.

This store has been recently purchased by Bill and Debra Clark, long time residents in the community and owners of Coker Creek Christian Camp. The have done great things with the store with more to come and offer super friendly service.
