Punkin Center Market / Dragon 318

We stopped in and were greeted by Keith and Merrielee Turley...some of the friendliest folks you’ll ever meet. The gift shop has everything for Tge Dragon... shirts, hats, stickers and more. Lots of motorcycle gear too (though we came in cars) Merrielee even kindly posed with my books. From here, head south on US 129 (The Dragon) and enjoy the drive of 11 miles and 318 curves...all in Tennessee!

Great place for gas as you are heading to or from the Tail of the Dragon. Plenty odd souvenirs and knickknacks. The attendant was helpful in recommending 129 Hub for lunch which turned out to be a great suggestion.

The owners were super nice and helpful.. we bought 5 t-shirts and they gave us a really good deal.. they have really cool designs .. way better than the standard deals gap shirts you normally see.

Great country store with all kinds of memorabilia. There is place to get a room or camp right behind it. Stop in and check it out.

New owners are very friendly I felt very welcome there. They also helped me make decisions on what rides I wanted to take , they also gave me their personal cell phones Numbers in case they were away so I could call if I needed anything I will be staying there again next year.

Keith and Marilee are super people, and know how to treat customers. I always stop there in the summer for gas, and to visit.

Very nice store with a nice selection of souvenirs, the owners were extremely friendly. As far as the 1 star review posted last month, the world just went through a very tough time with Covid and small businesses got hit really hard. And it's not unusual for stores to reserve their restrooms for paying customers. If I ever make it back to the Tail of the Dragon I will stop back and spend my money at the Punkin Center Market again.

This establishment was great. The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable about the products they sold. I purchased a couple of t-shirts and hat and some stickers, and the price was not outrageous. Even the prices on the leather wasn't too bad either. I would recommend this establishment to anyone traveling through this area.

Punkin Center Market / Dragon 318 is where you want to get your Dragon Tail t-shirts from! The selection is amazing!! You can also get leathers here as well as cool bumper stickers and decals. The staff here is the best. Very informative and super friendly.

Right on the way after the tail of the Dragon a great place to stop and get a souvenir of your experience., They also saved our trip by recovering my lost truck key that fell out of my pocket while getting gas thank you again Keith!

We stopped by for gas, coffee and conversation twice on our visit to the Dragon and other roads in the area. The owners were great, very hospitable and friendly. They obviously know the area well, and were great for advice on where to go, what to eat, visit, etc. It's a perfect place for a pitstop before you run the Dragon from the TN side. Drop by!

I stopped by here to pump gas and everyone there was attentive and kind. They even helped me check my tire pressure (since I didn't have a gauge) and add air to the tire using their own equipment. There was a slight equipment malfunction with the gas pump but they got right on it and got my tank filled. Five stars because of the customer service.

I had been wanting to stay at the "Tiny house" behind the retail store for a couple of years,and I had the privilege of staying 10 days there last year.The owners,well there is just not enough good I can say about them.During my stay( I was solo) they did so many things for me they didn't have to & always looked forward to coming back after my daily ride.If I never get to go back I will always remember last years ride to the Mountains because of their hospitality .Love you guys!

Great mom and pop shop. Owners are awesome they design their own t-shirts. Have local artists jewelry, candles, wall designs and head wraps.

All other public roads in the Universe are wussies compared to the Dragon Tail.

It's no joke - 7/10ths is a good place to start if your not Sterling Moss. Keep it safe.
