Great prices, friendly knowledgeable staff, and for a local game shop I’m really impressed with the breadth of the selection.

Their website is a helpful companion as I use it to do my own quick price check. If the price I have to pay for a 20-30% markdown is having to price check my own items, I can live with that every day of the week. Alternatively, you can ask the staff to check prices but after the third consecutive request I resorted to the website so as not to sound like a child on a long car ride.

Overall, highly recommend a visit.

The only place in town I know of where the prices frequently match or even beat what you can find online! You can even ask if they can order games for you if they don't have them in stock. Sometimes they will even be willing to preorder or Kickstart games for you.

They have a wide selection of games. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

The only downsides I can think of are the prices are unlabeled (though they are always so low that I do not mind) and it is a relatively small store.

Red 6 (Formerly the Gaming Goat) is a great local game shop! The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable about the various more "nerdy" games like Magic and D&D, etc., but they also have a nice, pretty wide selection of boardgames for board-gamers of all varieties and levels.

I like board games with about the level of difficulty of Ticket to Ride, and Red 6 seems to have a lot of things on that level, and also things that are both more and less intense. They also have a good selection of interesting-looking social games, which I also like. You don't have to be all about the "strategerie" to find something to enjoy here, which I really appreciate.

Their prices are cheaper than The Source, though one thing that kind of annoys me is that I don't think they don't put prices on the items, so you have to ask.

Also, they have an area for playing games in the back, but it's not big. It's cute and cozy.

This store is a true gem. Helpful staff. Expertly curated selection of a ton of games. They retail back crowd funding games. Great prices, lower than MSRP. Keep up the great business model

Small store, jam packed with a selection of board games of a much bigger store. The people running are friendly and knowledgeable and they have regular dnd and magic events in the back. What makes them worth the drive though is the 20-30% discount :).

A quick google search lead me here. I recently got into Pokémon card games and found out that this store sells a few packs of them in a corner. Will definitely be going back to buy more of their Pokémon inventory in the near future.

It’s located right next to a small tattoo shop so it’s hard to miss, it’s comfortable, relaxed and friendly from my experience. Cashier was cool too

Had a great selection of board games of all difficulty levels. Staff was incredibly helpful and gave great recommendations. We went with a specific game in mind and it blew us away how much cheaper it was than Amazon! We will support local and come back for more board games!

Gaming goat was a beacon of helpfulness after a few pretty poor customer service experiences at other shops. The MTG single selection is great, with solid representation of all formats except for vintage. Well organized and easy to sort through. They have a great selection of sealed MTG products at a competitive price and the workers there have been kind, professional, and seemingly genuinely interested in helping a new customer feel welcomed. Their table top games and game resources were extensive and well organized. I really enjoyed both of my times there and the customer service was great. I should have went here first, but then I would not have appreciated just how solid the customer service is.

Awesome store. The owners are cool. Typically have what I’m looking for at a competitive price. This would be a weekly stop of mine if I lived closer.

They have a nice selection for such a small shop. Very niche, cozy, classic game store vibe. They also run D&D Adventures League games out of the back room. I'm definitely a lifetime customer and will be back again!

We went in to get some game recommendations and figure out some organization options. Wow, Thor had a plethora of knowledge to share. Staff was friendly and informative. Plus they had a great game selection.

Absolutely awesome gaming store, always willing to pick something up if you suggest it to them. Jeremy is always super helpful and fun to talk. Their prices for MTG products are just right, and their knowledge base on the wide array of board games and TCG games (and D&D) is excellent. I always buy from them before even checking anywhere else.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I didn't see prices on anything, which was odd, but otherwise seemed like a nice place.

Edit on 1/22/2019: I've been to the Gaming Goat many more times now, and thought I should update my review. It seems that the reason they don't have price tags on anything they vary how much each item costs in a way that favors the customer. I've bought many things from the Gaming Goat where the price is comparable to what is listed on Amazon. They also keep their stock pretty well updated.

Small and excellent neighborhood game shop. Excellent selection and range of thoughtfully curated games and expansions. Staff is helpful and friendly, well-informed and willing to investigate queries. My go-to for all my tabletop gaming needs.

Seriously, why would you shop anywhere else for your board game needs? Everything is discounted 20-30% off MSRP. If, like me, you just want someone to give you advice or suggestions, the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly, it becomes immediately evident that they really do spend almost all of their free time playing games. If you want something they don't have, they are very willing to order it for you. Support your local game store and check them out!

Surprised a LGS opened in the are I lived so I visited with some friends months ago. I needed a very specific game and they had it and at the time they were matching and underming Amazon prices so it was a good price. They seemed to have a back room where they have events and people can just come to play games and hang out but I didn't get that good of a look. Knowing how hard it can be to keep afloat a local game store it's great a place like this exists and I hope it stays in business.

An amazing experience best game store I have been to yet, Commander nights are always inviting and fun!, and Thor is super nice and helpful as well!
