Safeway

Was downtown, needed a few items, and stopped by for the first time in years. This is a very nice store: lots of light, well-marked aisles, nice bakery, and a good selection of everything else. I'll definitely shop here again in the near future.

This Safeway put together a large deli order of party trays for an event we held. They were fresh and above our expectations! They were friendly and were on time. Great job , Kudos to your staff and thank you for making our day easy, awesome and delicious!

For an older supermarket this place was a very pleasant surprise. The outside looked dated, but not in any kind of neglect or disrepair - just older. The inside however was extremely well cared for. I can see that they take great pride in their store here. Even all of the products, like canned goods, we're all symmetrical with their labels all turned to face front. That right there tells you that they put in the extra effort.

I really appreciate their druggists, especially Greg. Wouldn't think of going to anyone else. Their food prices are reasonable and their selection is large. They are very convenient source for us.

One of the last remaining "old Safeway stores" I no of. Expect personalized service and no self check out. I go out of my way to visit this store, and there are two other Safeway stores and two King Soopers stores within five minutes. There are Wallys stores within ten minutes. Hards pass on Wallys. Prices are fair, and the people are great. "I would really appreciate it if other stores would go back to the excellent customer service that this store provides.

Pharmacy visit, Greg was there and had the script ready for me. Had to pick up a few sale items and they were both on the shelves! On the last day of the sale. They opened up another lane up front because the person ahead of me left their full cart of stuff in the way while she ran back to get a few more things. The cashier was friendly and fast.

"Josh"ordered 40-12 pks of various soda from warehouse got em within 1 week at special pricing. Gen mgr "Brody" offered custom services for me, handicapped senior citizen. Great people here. I've been trying to get same items from Windsor store for 2 months.."it's not available in the warehouse"...but Josh got it done!!!...and was prompt and informed on f/u calls. I do special orders like this 3-5times a year. Inflation is making bulk orders more necessary.

I love going to this Safeway and I’ve never had any issues but my favorite thing about this location is Margie. I make a point to go to her checkout line whenever I’m here. She’s the kindest lady and always makes sure I checked my eggs and I really appreciate that!

This Safeway location always makes me feel like I'm shopping at a relatives store. For a smaller store, they always have what I need and the cashier's are very friendly. The only issue, (which is a hard one) is that they need more carts. I think people who are close to the store take them a lot.

The signature brand from Safeway is waaaaay better than I thought it could be! I had some enchiladas and when I compared them to a national brand, Safeway won hands down. The even have ice cream sandwiches in several different flavors, like cookies and cream, mint, salted caramel and a couple others. Those things are highly addictive!! Friendly people throughout the store and they are ALWAYS happy to help. I've been shopping at Safeway for 52 years in three states. That alone should convince anyone to give Safeway a try if you don't shop there yet. Have a wonderful day everyone and stay healthy and happy!! Always, Andy

Everyone is very nice the stores always clean, and I always find what I'm looking for there.
I'd like to thank everyone who does such a good job making this the best Safeway in larimer county.

The downtown Loveland Safeway is my neighborhood grocery store, and I'm a fan. I love that it's not as huge as most newer grocery stores and I've never had a problem finding the products I need there. I haven't been inside this store that recently, however when I drive past I have been seeing trucks and what look like tiles stacked up in the parking lot. I've been told that they are updating the store which is good news.
This store appears dated due to both the design and the natural wear and tear of tiles. The carts at this downtown Safeway take a beating because the parking lot asphalt is pretty rough. There are never enough of the newer smaller carts, but you can usually find one of the big plastic carts that will assuredly have at least one wheel that just wants to go its own way.
The employees here are great though. Cashiers are generally friendly and quick, employees on the floor are helpful and knowledgeable. Sometimes there's a little bit of a wait at the service desk however employees do their best to provide quality service to everyone.
When someone posts about the unfounded fear or annoyance they feel when faced with the fact that there are humans who exist in the world without reliable shelter says a lot more about them than our unhoused neighbors.
And remember folks, if you see somebody shoplifting, no you didn't.

I shop off and on at Safeway, the downtown store. There was a time when I stopped as I didn't feel safe because of a large transient problem and the store became run down. Then in a hurry I stopped in there and the store was rearranged and clean and always someone around to help. On the way out I realized there was no longer a transient situation and I felt safe. So I now shop there often as it is close to where I live. Their produce department and the meat department are very good. And their sale prices are also very good. The employees are friendly and helpful. And I notice there are many more customers these days.

Loved it, clean even the parking lot was nice. Found everything I needed on my list. Prices are low on their brand, so that helped. Love the check out. Worker was fast and friendly. Made grocery shopping nice instead of something I dread. Quality place in nice part of town, no crowds deal with. Worth going back to!! Please check out this store

Although this Safeway is older and has no self checkout, they have good prices on many products and the general staff and specialty staff (meats, pharmacy, etc) are all very helpful. Plus, the store is never as overcrowded as the nearby King Sooper's stores. The parking lot is easily accessible from 3 directions with multiple driveways, offering an easy experience while driving through downtown Loveland.

I'm impressed with Safeway haven't been to one in over a year, and the store had good sales, was stocked on everything (right before Thanksgiving), clean, help available, nice meal kits in deli area, their deli looked fantastic - lots of sides I'd never seen there before. We tried this Safeway after leaving the Safeway on West Eisenhower in Loveland because of the RUDE EMPLOYEES. This Safeway on Cleveland here in Loveland is our New Grocery Store as the customer service is Excellent. An elderly lady a head of us had Many Questions regarding a Gift card and the Employee was Patient and Caring with her and us . It seems to me that today with All the Choices we have as Customers that a Business would want to Practice Great Customer Service to obtain repeat customers. Do not Shop at the Safeway on West Eisenhower unless you want to be talked down to. TY to the Safeway on Cleveland who now has our business because of a Truly nice Caring employee. I wish I could remember his name but he has a reddish beard. We are now customers for life.

I've been going here for years and the employees are so caring and always positive and helpful. Wonderful place to shop. The employees are so nice that Me and my husband felt like some of them were family. Many have been there for many years. My husband of 28 yrs passed back in 2007 and they were how are you doing? If you need anything just ask. To this day they always give you the warmest smile call out Hi Tamara how are you? A very great place to shop

The Safeway store on Cleveland Avenue has become my to go place. The reasons are as follows and not necessarily in this order. Easy to get in the parking lot easy to find a space and easy to get out. Great selection of produce, bakery!!!, Meats, and the deli. I love their baked chicken!!! and so do my pets. I love love love their baked chicken. When I moved to Loveland I had a hard time finding really good baked chicken or fried chicken. Some places I never went back to( its best that I do not give you the details). Let's just say I've had no issues with the deli chicken at Safeway at this location. For my mom's 91st birthday we celebrated with chicken, her favorite food. Even cold this chicken taste awesome. Another reason I like this store is the staff, I find myself carrying on conversations with them. I have not had any issues with the store, my groceries, the service desk, nor the staff. I really don't want to give them this good of a review because I'm afraid more people are going to cluster into my lovely store. Oh yes there's plenty of room in the aisles 2 Mosey around. I had to edit my review because of what someone wrote in a previous review . It is as follows. Someone did a review talking about a shady hotel and homeless people hanging around the grocery store. I have yet to see any such activity. I feel extremely safe here. It's in the old part of town and yes it's store is a little bit older but I love this store more than the other Safeway's. I've really never had to stand in line to check out.
