Service was so above and beyond what I've experienced in most other shoe stores or departments, and the level of expertise is second to none. I've never had a person attend to me who was as enthusiastic and educated about the products as Jakab. He took me through the Ultimate Fit process and we found the perfect pair of boots for me. All in all, this was a top tier shopping experience and the products are exceptional as well. I look forward to returning the next time I need footwear!

Had a great experience with the NEW manager and his team.
Tried to get my boots back 2 years ago and was told they were in storage as I had forgot about them. PREVIOUS manager was suppose to call me. Once again forgot about the boots. Out of site out of mind.
Thought my boots were lost after 2 years. Decided to try again and get my boots. NEW manager was fantastic as well as the team member that helped me to start with.THEY ALL come thru and found my boots. In all places on the wall of honor.

Jakab helped out a lot and helped find exactly what I needed and most comfortable to my foot.. red wing boots Corp you guys need to give him a raise!! He's an amazing sells man and I would highly recommend any customers to have him help you. Haven't been to that specific store in years because the service of other workers but will definitely be going back for my next pair of boots

Had an easy and positive experience. Joe answered all of my questions quickly and helped me pick out the right boot for my needs. Went in just to look around and walked out with a new pair of quality boots.

Jacab was the best I will never buy shoes or boots from a different place.

This was our first time in a Red Wing, in search of some durable, safety-toe shoes for my husband, who has had trouble finding well-fitting shoes in the past, and it was a wonderful experience.

We were helped by Hailey, who got a scan of my husband's feet so we had a better idea of the size and width he needed, and where he puts pressure on his feet. She did a wonderful job of explaining the various product lines and features, and she was attentive without being obtrusive. For example, she noticed us discussing the look of a boot with a black protective cover over the toe, which we thought was nice for the protective aspect but didn't have the look he preferred. She pointed out that they offer a clear protective coat for the toe of the shoe as well and got us the price quote for that. She was very receptive to answering all of our many questions.

We were very impressed with the product selection and definitely found some excellent options for my husband, but Hailey was also very understanding when we weren't prepared to purchase that day, due to the price. Hailey did not make us feel pressured to buy, or as though we had wasted her time. We understand that these boots will be a great investment, have a wonderful warranty, and will provide my husband with the longevity of wear that other brands have lacked.

Though we didn't make our purchase that day, we experienced excellent customer service, got all the information we needed, and are looking forward to returning when we're ready to invest in those boots!

I love Red Wing boots, except for my last pair, I purchased them while I still had a boot allowance so they sat in a box for a long while, when I finally did open them up and used them they only lasted like 6 months and the whole left boot sole started coming apart. I decided I would give them another chance because the last 6 pair of boots were great. The staff is friendly and it's never super busy where you have to wait too long.

Recently brought my work boots in for repair to this Red Wing location. Julian the manager went above and beyond to take care of me. It's good to know there are still companies today that value the customer experience. I will continue to recommend the Red Wing brand and more importantly this location to all my friends and family that are looking for quality work or everyday boots.

By far the best redwing i have ever been to. I have some pretty big issues with my boots and they took care of the issues! I used to just go to what ever redwing was closest, but never again. This store has a new life long customer. It doesnt matter where i am, if i need boots or insoles, i will make a special trip to this store. I can not recommend them more. If there was an option for 6 out of 5 stars i would give it to them

This store was very impressive. Derek helped me out and was beyond pleasant. Super professional and very respectful, but most of all passionate about what he was doing. Cant find that these days. I ended up buying 2 Heritage boots for myself because I was so impressed, and then ordered some Heritage boots for my girlfriend for Christmas. By the way, the girls line of Heritage boots are amazing! Go look! I highly recommend Red Wings Shoes in Johnstown CO.

I went to this RedWing Location around May 27th and Talked to them about possibly buying a boot and a month after use they killed my feet and didn’t feel comfortable as my pair of Ariat Boots I had for 2-3 years went back and talked to a Friendly Associate Named Julian about it and he had asked me more questions about what work I did and what my problems were with the boot, come to find out the boot I had bought was sized a bit differently than my feet I got resized in “Crosby” (picture of them below) and they have hugged my feet perfectly since . After all was said and done he made sure I also was taken care of even when the store was crowded with 3-4 people while he was the only one there and he gave me his undivided attention even when a customer came in and was acting very rude, he was patient with them and me throughout the whole process and I haven’t been back since and I am very glad that I was treated as a person rather than a sale thank you Julian.

Absolutely love this store! Derek and his employees are amazing! Always help me more than I ask. Find great solutions to any issues I have. I bought a set of boots when covid first started to affect the supply chain. They found them and over nighted them for me. Then dyed them black and applied a toe protector. Superb Job! I come back for both of my boots for maintenance and they do a great job. Very friendly staff. All around great store.

One thing that could be improved on is the call to the customer to let them know when things are done. I tend to not recieve a call when stuff is done. A mild inconvenience but something to think about. Regardless of this. I am giving 5 stars because I've been to 4 stores around the state. And this one is on the top of the list for the great customer service. Of course the product sell themselves so its nice to have friendly help. Thanks guys!

This review is based off my experience with Derek. Not sure of a last name, I'm honestly shocked to say the least. I've dealt with redwing shoe stores in the past, it always feels like it's almost stepping foot on a car lot. Almost as if you're being pressured to buy boots from redwing. Which I get it. It's a business. I don't hold that against them.

But let's get back to Derek this guy is probably the most professional downright spirit lifting employee I've ever met at ANY establishment. Not only did he bend over backwards to get my repair done same day. (I live a ways away from this store and have two young children it's about an hour and twenty minute drive) He did an outstanding job on the repair as well as oiled them. He didn't pressure me at all he was beyond knowledgeable (I ended up buying another pair of the same boots because of him.) Because of this guy, this store has gained my business for life. I'm not sure who reads these but you need to hold onto this man. Make him the face of your company. Reading through these reviews it seems I'm not the only one to feel this way. 10/10 for Derek, the best customer service I've ever received.

I am not sure if this is how all of the employees in the store are as I only had experience with him. Hopefully I get to meet the rest of the crew eventually.

Awesome experience- with their technology, knowledge, and willingness to help, I quickly learned that my feet were just as bad as I thought they were. The staff was able to get me into an awesome new pair of Heritage boots, some comfy and supportive insoles and socks, and for good measure I also picked up a pair of their moccasins. Great products, great people, and a great company. I’ll be back soon.

Great customer service, knew which boot, size, insole, and how to swap selection for what I needed. I arrived near closing and they stayed late to get me setup. Great service. Julian was very friendly and helpful
