Kroger Delivery

This review is of quality and price of Kroger products. I have never orders the online here in Tampa.
We have king Soopers (Kroger) in Colorado and love this grocery chain. Way better quality than grocery stores like Publix. I wish Kroger had physical stores here.

PLEASE READ! I just had to post. I absolutely love Kroger. Their app, their stores have saved me so much money. Their sales and coupons beat Publix everyday of the week. Their produce and selection is better than walmart for quality. my dil just saved $146 on a $320 purchase. NOW, people complaining don’t understand how Kroger works. Publix sales are Sunday to Saturday.
BUT Kroger sales an are Wednesday to Tuesday. So many people complaining but it’s obvious they don’t get it. You have to pay attention to the sales and their coupon requirements. The best I get from Publix is BOGO but if they only have 1, I’m paying full price- just like Kroger! Also kroger allows mixing of sodas. At Publix it’s buy 2 12 packs get one free. But you can’t mix Pepsi and coke products. Kroger is buy 2 get 2 and you mix them!
I’m sorry if you don’t know how to shop coupons and sales then fine but don’t slam Kroger because you don’t get it.
Oh another complaint. They do put a hold on your account. Mine was never double my total but it didn’t matter. After I rec’d the groceries the correct amount was what was left pending. Just pay attention. And lastly someone complained about a delivery driver! seriously? Do they hate Uber or door dash because of one driver?

They are amazing all around. Their prices are unmatched their app is awesome, so many coupons and so much savings compared to all the other stores like Wal-Mart and Publix's it's just crazy. I get FREE stuff all the time for just shopping with them, I wish they had an actual grocery store like back in Ohio for the fuel savings, all the money you spend gets you money off on gas, and on specific days it's double and on specific items it's ×4 fuel points. I've found that I spend SO MUCH MORE money on groceries than I did when I shopped at Kroger and you'd figure since prices are sky high they at least offer coupons or have an app like krogers for coupons on groceries and taxables that help save you money at the gas pump. KROGER PLEASE OPEN SOTRES HERE, and if not, please at least open just A STORE. Just ONE store is all we're asking for lol. I'm just so grateful for being able to at least order online and that they offer kroger delivery in Florida now. So thankful. They have so many GOOD AND AMAZING things that no other store carries, like for instance their ice cream sandwiches they have top notch the absolute best, strawberry cheesecake ANNNNND pumpkin pie 🤤🤤😋😋😍🥰😍🥰🥹
They even offer coupons and discounts on deliveries too. Now I've yet to use it as I just moved down here but im actually about to order mine and when everything is done I'll then review it all and the entirety of the process and the service and how good it was and if I'd recommend it and ill make an edit too. Thank you all!

Kroger delivery has been a game changer for life in Florida. I’m originally from the Midwest so it’s great to be able to get most of the products I can only get at Kroger. Prices are competitive. The only thing to make Kroger in Florida better would be some store locations to enjoy all Kroger has to offer.

Kroger delivery here in Tampa/St. Petersburg is excellent. Their prices are great, far better than Publix, and their produce, store brands, etc are great as well.

Wonderful selection. Great prices. Friendly delivery guy. Everything was cold and FRESH!! Honestly I’m a little disappointed that I haven’t heard more wonderful commendations from more local folks. I even did a filtered “friends” search on Facebook hoping to see some reviews. Nada. Perhaps they just haven’t tried it for themselves? I don’t know but y’all…..

I've ordered Kroger delivery 3 times now, and I only had one problem, and they made it right. Kelly made my delivery this morning and was very professional and helpful.

I order delivery from them all the time threw their app. I recieve multiple discounts so it is definately worth it. They have fast friendly drivers who drop your groceries off in a refrigerated truck. You csn usually get it delivered the next day after you place your order. Highly recommend them

I doubt Kroger reads these reviews. However, here is my experience with this service in the tampa bay area.

When they have stock, the service is great. The issues come into play when there is insufficient stock. If you selected "no substitutions" you are saying cannot honor the promotion you don't want it. However, that is not the Kroger way.
Example:
Say they have a product on sale, like a bogo offer. If they only have 1 item in stock and you selected "no substitutions", they will deliver that 1 item and you will not that bogo item. That results in you paying double what you anticipated.

This type of stuff has happened to me many times. It is frustrating. And they will notify you that a product is out of stock after the cutoff to make changes and you are stuck getting the shaft. Getting so sick of this.

I live in ST PETERSBURG, so it’s a little different here. At any rate, I was definitely interested in the Boost plan. As I read about it, I became disappointed because one of the “bonuses” is Fuel Points.
Well, I thought, why would a disabled person like me who doesn’t drive be interested in paying (part of the membership — there’s no free lunch) for points that I can’t use.
The result is that the cost outweighs the benefits for me, so I will not use the service.

Absolutely horrible service.

We really wanted the convenience of grocery delivery, but Kroger is NOT the solution. They are constantly late or delayed, leaving you to wait around for perishable items and the produce is subpar. We also had problems with missing items multiple times. Today was the last straw, our entire order was marked delivered, but we never received anything. The Kroger mobile app and phone service are almost impossible to navigate to customer service, and it took us 30 minutes on the phone to receive a refund.

Dealing with Kroger, is nothing but a frustrating experience that will waste your time, AND you will still need to go to a real grocery store afterwards.

Biggest mistake I've ever made trying this. I was so excited, my friend told me about Kroger delivery and I placed my first order yesterday for roughly 178$ and some change. I was charged as soon as I placed my order. My order was delivered this morning, and upon delivery I was charged again. 179$ and some change. Now both of these, FULL, amounts are sitting on my bank account and affecting what is in my available balance. I was told that this is an authorization hold. For the full amount? And it doesn't release with the final charge is placed? So I'm just supposed to be out DOUBLE the money I budgeted for groceries for 7-10 business days and that's ok? Not one person in customer service has been helpful, I've been given tons of conflicting information, sat on hold for over 40 minutes, I'm literally typing this while listening to the hold music because I've asked for ANOTHER supervisor. I also asked for corporate information and was told I could get an address and write them a letter....what are we in 1912? There's no email or phone number for corporate? Right. This sucks. Never again. No normal person can plan to pay DOUBLE every week for groceries and it sit there like that for a week. Just plain stupid.
