Safeway

The other day I came to this Safeway for the first time. I was just looking at all of the pies, cakes and baked goods in the bakery section. Everything looked so fresh, delicious and appealing. There were two girls working in the bakery. One girl asked me if I needed any help and I said no but thank you for asking. A few minutes later the other girl asked me if I needed any help and I said no but thank you for asking. I just want to give a shout out to both of these girls for being so polite and attentive. I know that they were super busy working in the back and I appreciate the fact that they noticed me in the midst of it all.

We needed some fresh last minute items for a house salad. Although there were some holiday long lines on Christmas Eve it wasn’t too bad of a wait. This store seemed extra clean and had a nicer feel to the look. They also had a lot of really nice looking flowers too.

I’m so grateful for an associate like Sadele! I’m a dasher and this was the first time I was treated like a customer. Very rare experience and I have to say, please, please..management, this is a keeper!! You deserve more than 5 stars!

Ivana in the deli department has been wonderful each time I’ve worked with her. Always pleasant and great communication. Today, she took a last minute order for me and it is such a relief that she is able to do it. So appreciative, she deserves the shout out. Thank you, Ivana!

New to this store, as we are from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and staying here in a Casita located here in Queen Creek.
A very nice store and saved alot of money based on what we needed in our Casita.
Definitely will be back!!!

Thank you to the butcher who was there on the Sunday morning of 2/4/2024. I didn't catch his name, but he left the floor stocking and cut me a chuck roast to a size that I wanted. It was nice to see that excellent customer service still exists.

The elderly gentleman at self check out (I’m bad with names) he is so helpful! I had never used the coupons before so I was a little lost on the details. He stepped right in and helped! He knew how the app worked and some shortcuts! Safeway has a couple of helpful staff. This man is a role model for others! He noticed when I was struggling and stepped right in and helped! I am grateful 😊

Store seams to be cleaner and more in stock. Prices are still higher then others but conveniently located for the few items.

Nice, clean store with friendly help. Prices seem to be on par for what's going on in this world. Shelves are usually well stocked. Not a fan of the parking spaces being up close for folks who shop on line. Handicap parking should have priority.

Love the app and ordering online to see all of the deals plus $35 minimum orders for free curb side pickup. The app has definitely improved with substitutions. All of the associates have been friendly and prompt. I also use the pharmacy for more gas rewards.

this safeway is really nice but the cashier girl was rude . nasty attitude but everyone else was nice

Great employees and good prices. Very clean store as well. Make sure you download the app as it just saved me 65% off my entire bill. Awesome. UPDATE: When looking for items missing in the dairy section, I was assisted by Jasmine. She was incredible! Her attitude was perfect and she went out of her way to find my desired items. She should be promoted to the Dairy Manager!!! No questions! Not to forget the extremely awesome pharmacy staff. Everyone is amazing and thoughtful. Best staff ever!

Wonderful bakery and super employees throughout the store. Dear manager...please invest in a new bread slicer...the one you have is a disaster. often it mangles the bread.

We've been pretty happy each time we come in to shop. Friendly, helpful staff members and the store is pretty clean during each visit...we like that their fruits and vegetables are fresh.

We stop by the clearance section near the dairy aisle as they sometimes have some good deals.

Starbucks crew is very cool always good vibes. if ever there busy be patient they do everything 100% coffee is always best here

I want to recognize Barb in the deli. At 8pm on a Tuesday she was giving every customer at that counter outstanding customer service and helping customers save money ❤❤❤

The Safeway on the corner of Queen Creek Rd & Powers is very clean, well stocked & very friendly customer service. Gas price is reasonable, haven't seen the price go up in recent days. Easy in & out access.

Love that they sell my old town Chicago pizza 🍕 there. Homerun Inn Pizza and it's fairly priced.
They also sell sport peppers for Chicago Style Hotdogs and Gerdinaria peppers for Italian Beef sandwiches.
