Amazing villa and would go back in a heart beat!!! The staff was so friendly, great service and views second to none.

What a special vacation! We took our extended family of eight adults (4 couples) to Villa Estrella for a family celebration. It was THE PERFECT PLACE. We have have been to many luxurious resorts, but Villa Estrella provided a personalized pampering experience like we have never had before. It was more like living in a mansion with servants. Eduardo our full-time butler/bartender/assistant was always there to serve with a smile from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. Jose’ our full-time personal chef created delicious meals and/or snacks four times a day, providing us great examples of tasty local fare and teaching us the Spanish words for different culinary items. The housekeeping crew not only cleaned up our mess each day, they did our laundry everyday as well! What a treat to bring home a suitcase of clean clothes! Guillermo the property manager checked on us daily to make sure we had everything we needed, including making recommendations and booking local excursion activities. The location of the Villa was ideal, high enough on the hill to have a spectacular view but only a 2 - 3 minute walk down the hill to the beach. If you are looking for a super memorable family or group experience, Villa Estrella is tough to beat!

Beautiful view, many delicious meals, very clean, comfortable, Sonos integration throughout common areas, fantastic pool, an impressive selection of fresh fruit, generally friendly service.

Not easy to get to or walk-friendly, dinner service was rushed every night so staff can get home early (get your post-dinner cocktail order in quickly), breakfasts on days management was absent seemed downgraded to 'continental', wi-fi doesn't cover the entire property, hot water is spotty, wine selection was okay.
