Ticoffia Cafe

A nice spot to grab breakfast before heading to the airport. They offer a variety of typical local breakfasts as well as more familiar dishes like French toast and avocado toast. They also have many smoothie options and coffee drinks. We order the Tipico, Gallos, Cold Brew, and iced Vanilla Latte and enjoyed everything we had! Service was a bit slow, so give yourself time to not rush (because they aren’t going to rush to make your food). The drive to the airport is less than ten minutes from here.

Talk about delicious!! It doesn't look like much but wow! This place is a gem right off the side of the highway and the coffee is delicious! We had iced vanilla lattes with oat milks, avocado toast and lemon bread and just yum! Coffee was gone pretty quick because it was so good. We arrived around 0647, and they don't open until 7 but they opened early for us and were super kind and accommodating. MUST GO!!

Local cafe. About 11 minutes from the airport. Simply nice. The people, the food, and the coffee are good. Small but pleasant.

Coffee was excellent. One of the best we had during 2 weeks in Costa Rica. Typical breakfast was also excellent and our server very kind. Not super fast service but I wasn’t in a rush.

If you’re a foodie (or just in need of coffee or some food), you have to stop by this small coffee shop and cafe.

We randomly stopped by for a quick coffee, and it was really good so we decided to order a small pastry. That was so good we then decided to order an entire plate, and then ordered more coffee for the the car ride. The ladies cooking and serving were incredibly nice and made it a great experience. A great coffee shop to hit up before going to the airport. As well, most cafes in Liberia don't open until 10 or later, while this one was open early, really appreciated that. The coffee and food are good and I recommend the comida typical breakfast they have.

This is a very charming and delicious spot we stopped at as soon as we left the airport and on our way back. Coffee and food were excellent and we loved getting a visit from the local pups.

Had a great tasting coffee (iced coconut and V60 pour over) as well as great conversation with Karina. Wish we had known about the coffee tours that they offer earlier, as it sounded like a great experience. They're claim of best coffee in town is definitely not misleading! Eco conscious and globally conscious shop.

Had the loveliest breakfast here. Typica breakfast and smoothie bowl were phenomenal, as well as our horchata cacao coffee. Big thanks to Axal for a wonderful experience!

Found a great vanilla latte here and the banana bread is moist and yummy! Stopped a couple of times while driving from Playa Hermosa (Guanacaste) and Playa Flamingo through Liberia to attractions in Rincon de La Vieja. We were the only customers, so no wait. Will be back when visiting again! Gracias y Hasta Luego!

All the food was amazing. This is not just a stop on the way to the airport, it’s one of the best bistros we ate in in Guanacaste. The mango salad, tipico breakfast, mushroom and hummus wrap and avocado toast were all exceptional.

Great location (brand new spot!), amazing coffee (V60, cold brew, and a dozen other hot and cold options), and excellent service. I got a coconut cacao iced latte and it was perfection. Non-dairy options available. Avocado toast was also delicious!

This place is phenomenal! Unassuming from the outside but the food is amazing! Definitely worth breakfast or brunch stop!

This place is a hidden gem!!!! Ask to see their menu, everything we tried on it was home made/baked and delicious. Also, their coffee is great. The perfect place to stop on your way from or to the airport, enjoy!

This little cafe was excellent. I had the Typical which is the traditional Costa Rican breakfast along with a side of avocado toast. They both were so good!!! So much flavor! Will definitely make this stop each time we have our out bound flight from Liberia airport !

By far the best coffee we had in Costa Rica! Stopped by on our way to the airport. Definitely worth a visit.
