We as a family love scuba diving, but Herbert took that to a whole new level! We got to explore a really cool ship, see a ton of wildlife, and experience the beauty of the DR coast. He was exceptionally professional, making sure we remembered everything we needed to, and guided us very well. He made sure to show us all the cool things he could in the time that we had. Our dives were followed by a delicious lunch on one of the islands where we got to enjoy the amazing view and hear a lot of funny stories. Herbert was incredibly informed as well, teaching us a lot about the history of the island itself on our drives to and from the dive site. We 120% recommend going scuba diving with him if you are in the DR and want a good time!

We contacted Herbert to go scuba diving my daughter and I. We did 4 dives with him, we saw sharks, turtles, lion fish , moray eel and barracudas and all kind of tropical fish.

Herbert was a first class host for my 2 dives off Catalyna Island. I was one of a group of just 4 divers so never felt rushed. Communication was excellent before and during the day. Herbert has more than 30 years professional diving experience so you will be in safe hands!

We had a great diving experience with Herbert. The major positive was that he only takes small groups at a time which makes for a much more intimate, interesting and enjoyable experience.

I chose Herbert for his high reviews and he did not disappoint. Herbert took me to five dive sites. Shark Point , Ship Wreck, Cavern/Cave and two reef dives in Caribbean just outside Bayahibe. I really liked the personal approach and service he provided. Herbert was willing to pick me up in person at resort and drove us to dive shop and dive boat. It felt that Herbert was willing to accommodate my requests of dive sites. At the end of the day we stayed in Bayahibe and had a social with cold local beer. All communication was very clear and upfront through email and WhatsApp. He would be my first choice whenever I get back to Dominican Republic.

We decided to take a PADI course for OWD and diving instructor Herbert was recommended to us by a local guide. He was very kind, punctual and flexible throughout the entire course. Every time he picked us up at the resort and also drove us back. As an instructor he was very knowledgeable, patient and calm. He has lots of experience and therefore you feel very safe when diving with him. He also speaks fluent English so it was very easy to understand his instructions. He only dives with small groups and chooses very nice diving sites which are not crowded and not touristic. Herbert gave us not only great knowledge about diving but also local and unique experience which we won't forget. When we return to the Dominican Republic, we hope to dive with him again :)

Herbert is a great instructor. He is passionate about diving and does things the right way. I enjoyed working with him on my cavern and cave diving certifications and will be going back to continue my training with him in the future.

I tried out diving for the first time with Herbert and it was really great. I ended up driving 3 days in a row. He takes his time to explain you everything you need and the lessons are very personalized. Not only that but you he is full of information about the island the the surroundings. If you wanna escape the over-touristy areas and have a great time trying out sth new or getting your license - you are in the right hands.

What can I say?? In August 2019, I spent 3 days doing 6 back to back dives with Herbert. I had the absolute time of my life!! I came to the Dominican Republic just to wrap of the last three dives of my open water certification. Because of Herbert’s amazing tutelage and organization of dives; I’m now leaving as a certified Adventure Diver!! There is absolutely no need to book through your hotel. Herbert picks you up and drops you off the day of the dive. Because he runs a smaller more personalized shop your diving experience is crafted specifically to your abilities and diving needs. He’s also incredibly knowledgeable about the surrounding countryside, and never failed to explain the purpose of a building or name of a plant! Aside from his warm personality, the custom picked dive sites were AMAZING!! I had the experience of a lifetime exploring the wreck of St. George, with Herbert guiding me along the way. There were a huge variety of fish to see and he’s quick to point out rare and interesting finds. Although, Herbert says, “It’s not a zoo.” lol. And, doesn’t guarantee that you’ll see any specific fish, his acumen for picking dive sights is unparalleled, and I’m astounded by the variety of marine life we were able to
observe. My only goal with this trip was to quietly get my certification finished. Herbert changed all that and now I’ve made the Dominican Republic and Aquatrack a permanent return destination!! Gracias por todo

Wenn Ihr einen schönen Tag mit tauchen oder schnorcheln erleben wollt, dann macht das unbedingt mit Herbert. Wir hatten die Saona Schnorchel Tour gebucht und waren begeistert. Wir wurden am Hotel abgeholt und er hat uns auf der ca. einstündigen Anfahrt nach Bayahibe schon einiges interessantes über Land und Leute erzählt. Wir waren eine kleine Gruppe von vier Personen, was sehr angenehm ist und worauf Herbert wert legt. Die verschiedenen Ausflugspunkte waren sehr interessant, wobei uns der Stopp auf der Insel Saona mit leckerem Mittagessen und anschließendem Schnorcheln (ca. 1,5 Std.) an den Überresten alter Landungsstege am besten gefallen hat. Die rasante Bootsfahrt zur Insel und zurück hat natürlich auch Spaß gemacht. Mit Herbert ( rheinische Frohnatur) verbringt Ihr auf jeden Fall einen schönen Tag und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist mehr als gut.

Es klingt nach einem aufregenden Abenteuer! Mit Guide, Herbert Mohr an meiner Seite hatte ich die Gelegenheit, sieben wundervolle Tauchgänge zu erleben. Die Kontaktaufnahme über WhatsApp war unkompliziert und Herbert erwies sich als äußerst kompetent, zuverlässig und sympathisch. Wir erkundeten atemberaubende Ziele, wie an einem Tag die Insel Catalina, mit der Steilwand und das vorgelagerte Riff. Für gute Verpflegung nach dem Tauchen war auch gesorgt. Am nächsten Tauchtag besuchten wir faszinierende Wracks wie das der St. Georg und das der Atlantic Princess. Besonders beeindruckend war die Höhle Chicho die wir als Nachmittagshighlight betauchten. Für einen guten Tagesabschluss in gemütlicher Runde in einem typischen dominikanischen Laden mit Snack war ebenfalls gesorgt. Zwei Tage später führte uns Herbert zum Shark Point und zum Wrack der "Monika", einem Transportfrachter aus dem Jahr 1850. Auch hier haben wir uns nach den Tauchgängen gemütlich zusammengesetzt und alles Review passieren lassen. Er kümmerte sich hervorragend um unsere Ausrüstung, das von ihm bereitgestellten Equipment waren in ausgezeichnetem Zustand, die Jackets fast nagelneu. Ich kann Herberts Tauchgänge nur wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich bereits auf mein nächstes Abenteuer mit ihm.

Eine Absolute Empfehlung wenn man in der Dominikanischen Republik abtauchen möchte. Mein Kumpel und ich sind erfahrene Taucher und haben superschöne Tauchgänge unternommen. Herbert hat für jede Erfahrung die passenden Tauchplätze. Die beiden Wracks St. Georg und Atlantic Princess konnten wir ausgiebig erkunden. Da wir kein Höhlen-Brevet haben, sind wir im Cavernenbereich einer Höhle im Naturschutzgebiet getaucht, auch das war ein tolles Erlebnis. Wir waren mit ihm alleine und auch sonst macht er nur Tauchgänge mit kleinen Gruppen. Herbert, auf diesem Weg nochmal herzlichen Dank.

Herbert muss man einfach weiterempfehlen!
Er organisiert die Tauchausflüge nach unseren Wünschen. Ein Taucher + ein Schnorchler. Für jeden das richtige.
Wenn dann ein geplanter Tauchtrip "ins Wasser fällt ;-)" kein Problem!
Wir hatten wieder einen tollen Trip, diesmal zu einer Lagune mit weitem, einsamen Strand. Ruhe pur. Danach zur Kathedrale und Kontrastprogramm Markt in Higüey. Sehr interessant. Original dominikanisch Essen musste auch sein.

Wir waren jetzt das 3te mal in der DomRep und mit Herbert unterweg und lernen jedesmal Neues dazu. Es wird nicht langweilig!!!

Selbst nach einem "kleine Missgeschick" denkt er natürlich erst an seine Gäste!

Wir kommen wieder und freuen uns schon auf weitere tolle Tauchgänge und Ausflüge.
