Hotel Riu Bambu

I’m just got back from this wonderful trip to Riu Bambu. What a beautiful place. It has everything you need and want to do. The people are pleasant and the entertainment was entertaining. It was my first time there but it won’t be my last time. If u like to party this is the way to go. If u want to relax this is also the place to be.

Our stay was very good and it is our second time at the Riu chain. For being the cheapest resort in the chain, because it is not a palace, I consider it very good and with excellent food and customer service. I dare say it was better than a Palace of the same chain.

The food was much better. We loved the party called Riu Party, it is a great attraction of the chain. Something that we really liked is that the Riu Party is practically in front of the Bambu, so you only have to walk very little, there is even an exclusive entrance to exit and enter the street where the Riu Party is.

Having visited 3 Riu, two of them Palace, from a financial point of view I would choose the Bambu without hesitation and I will have the same quality in everything.

A wonderful resort to go to! Really popular and sometimes rowdy though, so be prepared for lots of other tourists. The food was of great variety, bartenders know their stuff, the other service staff are friendly and attentive most times. The main pools and Most of the common areas are less then a 2 minute walk to the beach, making it really convenient for those who want to get away from the crowds and get into some *real* water.

Our only real displeasure was around some maintenance concerns in our assigned room - but the staff were quick at fixing all of them, so we are happy 😁

First thing I would like to point out was I really enjoyed this resort and would recommend.
The rooms was decent and food was above average. I really enjoyed the easy walk to the Riu Party which was a walking distance from the resort. I would come here again.

We spent 2 weeks in November 2023 .we loved there..room was clean every day. Food was OK..was plenty to choose from.. beach was fantastic. ..riu party were great absolutely enjoyed it..great holiday

Riu Hotel and Resort in Punta Cana is a tropical paradise that offers a blend of relaxation, entertainment, and exceptional service. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the stunning natural beauty of the resort. The lush gardens, palm-fringed beaches, and crystal-clear waters create a picture-perfect setting for a getaway. The resort's design and architecture seamlessly blend with the surrounding environment, making it a true oasis. I love their 7 restaurants with many different kitchens. Was good to spend time in affordable and comfortable all inclusive resort.

Riu Bambu was one of our favorite hotels in the Dominican Republic. The rooms were clean, staff were great, the food was excellent, huge selection of fresh foods and many restaurants to pick from.we can not wait to visit back.

The place is incredible, rooms are spacious but not in a fancy way, Service is really good if you tip, location of the Hotel can't get better than that overall 9/10

As adults we enjoyed spending our trip in RIU BAMBU, but we had a 36 months girl with us and while we were there the weather was rainy and windy, so we couldn't take our kid to the pool and no indoor play ground like ball pit or pop up play tent to make the girl busy.Otherwise everything was good.the WiFi was great.

Loved every minute♡ just got back today. The staff AMAZING. Went over and beyond to help with my baby♡ also sweet details with the ladies that cleaned my room and cute gift for my moms birthday from the hotel◇ Food AMAZING so much variety ♡ would go again 💯

I spent 11 nights here, I had the best experience. I went with a large group age ranges between 6 and 40. There was loads for us to do. The staff were friendly. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and stocked up with fresh drinks. All inclusive includes rating in five restaurants, access to the riu pool party, free with drinks. The beach is amazing.
All the trips were brilliant 👏. It was such a good experience I will be returning in two years time. I never go to the same place twice.

My Fiancé and I stayed at Riu Bambu during the 1st week of February. It was our first all inclusive and after this amazing experience, definitely wont be the last. Especially staying with RIU resorts.

The food was good, I enjoyed the different types of food options at the buffet daily. We had the pleasure to be served by the wonderful gentleman named Narcy. He was the kindest soul, super attentive and his energy left a memorable impression on us. We were super happy to be assisted by Narcy almost every Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Wonderful person.

Loved the drink selection and the beach. The water was beautiful. I also really enjoyed the Riu parties. All the staff are very friendly, attentive and welcoming! Looking forward to coming back again in the future

Fantastic time at this hotel 17th=28th of September lot of bad reviews about this hotel but we found it fine checking was a bit haphazard but the room was fine fresh towels everyday bedding changed as well main restaurant for breakfast was fine if you sit outside near the top the waiters there really look after you not so good around the bars through. Let’s no kid our selves this is the cheapest Rui in the tui broucher and given the 7 alacart restaurants you can go to free sun beds it’s a bargain go and enjoy your self

Solo stay in May, 14 days. Wonderful experience, nothing to complain about. A huge variety of food, clean pools, perfect room cleaning, great disco and of course fabulous beach. No sargassum at all during my 14-day stay. Very good animation team!!!!
A/C worked perfectly, bed was comfortable, blankets available if needed, mini-bar was refilled daily.
I really appreciated the fact that one could use an app to request something, no need to walk to the reception.
Personnel was very welcoming. I didn't tip (except for cleaning) but I was served anyway.
I am definitely coming back next year.

We stayed as a group of 6 as everything was amazing. Food, staff, beach, activities. Highly recommend

This was our first time in Punta Cana and it was so much fun. I was skeptical based on reviews, but we had nothing but a fabulous experience. The staff were above and beyond kind, especially Johnny at the pool bar! The rooms were clean and the food and drinks were great. The location is amazing, and we felt so safe the entire time. Will definitely be returning to this hotel!

Great place for the family, had a good time the rue party was great.
Need to work in requiring their vendors to post all prices on items. One should not be guessing how much something is. Or getting ripped off by the vendors there.

Best all inclusive experience I’ve been to so far. Came here with a big group for a family vacation and we were not disappointed. Rooms are spacious, food is great, and non-stop entertainment and activities all around the resort. Can’t leave out their outstanding and friendly staffs. They have so much patience towards guests and always greeting you with a smile

The staff is amazing. The facility is amazing. Just don't forget to ask for a blanket because they do not put that in your room but other than that everything went great

Why does the room get 4, the plugs work bad. USB plugs do not work. WiFi sometimes does not work. But the service was excellent.
