Vista Sol Punta Cana Beach Resort & Spa

A friend and I went and had the most wonderful time! The Staff was friendly (loved Juan and Eric in the Lobby bar at nights), the little shop on site was perfect for snacks or last min needed items.

The food was alright for the most part. We didn't starve, and could always find something to eat. the Mexican Restaurant in our opinion was the best but again could always find something to eat. And if you were looking for something off the resort if you walk up the beach, even right next door there are bars and other places to eat and drink.

The hotel itself was very clean! You can get anywhere within a 5 min walk. Pools were great we liked the one with the chairs in it. Wifi was the best there.

If you looking for a really great day trip in the lobby and by the beach we found Danny and booked a Catamaran to Saona Island. Hands down one of the best beaches I've ever been too!

All in all we had a beautiful time. It was exactly what we were looking for and hope to be back super soon

This was my first solo trip and it did not disappoint. The Animation Team, especially Ivan and Fransisco, is what made my trip so fantastic! So many games and dancing lessons every day, they do a fabulous job of getting the guests involved. I met so many friendly and fun people from all over the world. The room was great, A/C, hot water, the pillows are a bit lumpy, but after a busy day of fun and sun I didn't notice. I came for the beach and it was gorgeous, clean of seaweed and miles to walk. I had no issues with the vendors. The fresh coconut provided by Vista Sol staff was delicious! The lobby buffet is perfectly fine, I always found plenty to eat, now I'm not a picky eater, but I don't see anybody starving with the large selection. I also tried the Mexican, Italian, and Gourmet restaurants which were lovely. The evening entertainment at the theater was always enjoyable, but my favourite nite was the Beach Party! I will definitely return to this resort. Ignore the bad reviews!

This hotel was surprisingly great for our family of six including two kids 8 and 10 years old. Despite all the bad reviews we read, this hotel has a lot to offer for a 4 star resort. The food is quite good with a big variety, we had an issue with rooms the first night and it was resolved the next day. Great location, service (bars and restaurants), staff very nice. The animation hands down, Francisco is the best charismatic and energetic guy I ever seen. I highly recommend this place, we are coming back here for sure.

This was our 5th time at Vista Sol. My Wife and I LOVE it there.
We were there from Feb. 16th to the 23rd. We always stay in the VIP area, it is so worth it. Thank you Omar for the room we requested, and a SPECIAL THANKS TO YENCIE AND ALEXANDRA. The 2 best bartenders in the world. These 2 ladies are amazing.

the vacation was great. Clean rooms. The bathtub leaked a little, but it was not catastrophic. The territory is extremely green and beautiful, very well-kept. the choice of food was large and the food was delicious. The sushi restaurant was disappointing. Don't waste your time on this. The service is generally good, the room is cleaned every day, I would like more smiles from the staff. A bit difficult if you don't speak Spanish, because the staff doesn't speak English at all. The beach is beautiful, clean. Only people who want to sell you tours three times more expensive than viatour or tripadvisor are annoying. The evening program is interesting only for the first two days, because the dances with the animators and the music are the same every evening.

Perfect resort sized for easy access to the room, beach and food areas. Friendly staff, wide variety of food options to pick from, really good restaurants and the beach is cleaned early in the morning.
This does have public access to the beach so be mindful of the vendors ,however it also gives an opportunity to buy from them if one isn't planning to go out to shop.
It has kids areas on the beach side so it is easy to be with the kids while viewing the ocean waves.
The pools are good sized.

Everything was PERFECT, I had the best vacation ever. Julio, Wilson, Luis, Carlos and the room service attendants were amazing. I'll definitely be back. Thank you for making my Vacation a memorable one.

I would've given 5 stars for service but Jeysen from the front desk could smile once in awhile and needs to learn to be more friendly and helpful. My mom has hip problems, which we filled a special request form for this reason so that she wouldn't need to climb stairs. They were put on 3rd floor with no elevator. Once my wife and I arrived we went up with my parents to change rooms to a lower floor or a building with an elevator. I explained the situation with the front desk and was told to come back the next day, we did and dealt with this one guy named Jeysen. He had no compassion, I explained that my mom couldn't climb stairs and he kept saying you have to pay more money. He didn't even really listen to our problem and really didn't seem to want to help us at all. We asked to speak to a manager then no manager showed up. He did this so he didn't have to deal with us. He knew I was getting pretty mad and unhappy with the terrible service from this 1 staff member.
On the other hand we spoke to Wilson, he fixed everything and resolved our problem and got my parents into a room on the lower level of a different building.
As for the special request form, it's a waste of time because it wasn't honored at all. This was disappointing but we made the b3st of our week there. The rest of the staff are do friendly and work very hard. Especially the waitress and the housekeepers. The bell boy by the name Jesus is the hardest working person there from what I have seen, he is always on the move carrying peoples luggage to and from the lobby or the bus and up to people's rooms. This guy is super friendly and really great to talk to. He's very helpful too.
The grounds of Vista Sol are beautiful. The buffet food isn't the greatest and always seemed to be the same. The a la cartes weren't as good as expected. If they overhauled their menus and changed up the food each day it would be one if the best resorts around. We enjoyed our stayed after we got things sorted with the rooms. It easy yo get around and find where everything is in this resort.
Thanks for a nice hot holiday. Now back to reality.

The hotel is in close proximity to the airport, which I prefer. Check in was was easy. Our room was amazing- “partial ocean view “ was better than anticipated. The grounds are well kept and tropical. The staff was great- helpful, friendly and fun. The presentation of the food is 5 star! The taste, a 3 star. So many great options, so there is something for everyone!

I was on my recent solo trip there and to my surprise it turned out to be good. Wi-Fi was available only in common areas which let me find more friends & check phone not often.

Perfect get away to escape Canadian winter. It was sunny most of the days with little rain for 5-10 mins every alternate day. I visited during Feb 1st week & the climate may change during ur visit

I was here at the end of the Summer and had an amazing experience. The food is standard, but breakfast was always my favorite meal. Lots of juices to choose from and eggs over easy on toast, so you can tell my pallet is pretty basic.

What I loved about the resort was the staff. Friendly, hard working and considerably underpaid like most staff at these all-inclusive resorts, so bring lots of dollar bills. I’d say $10 to $25 a day, and just spread it around.

I was there for on 6 nights and felt that I left my good friends behind.

The staff at the bars were also great, but the lobby bar is the best. Sorry Dios at the beach bar. You’re great but, I’m bad with names and don’t want to butcher someone’s, the lobby bar and staff always made you feel like home.

The waiters and waitresses in the main restaurant were always moving. I especially enjoyed the company of Yelenni and Darlyn.

The matcheteros taking care of the grounds were always kind and had an hola to pass along. I always bring some lightly used clothing to give away. It’s the thought that counts. :)

We had amazing holidays..
Not everyone speaks English, but they are really trying to help and understand you. Prices are very high, so it's better to take all you need from home.
Or and definitely take some medication with you!
The food was ok, maybe breakfast meniu wasn't great, but.. in general, we were not disappointed

We had great service all week Juan, Carlos and Angel the bar tenders were great all week . The foam party the entertainment nightly and beach activities make it worth the trip !

This was our second visit to Vista Sol won't be our last,it was awsome again,staff are all great.Rooms great,had one small problem but they came and fixed right away so no complaint there.Beds are a little hard (for me not all).We stay in junior suites and love them and the private beach and bar.The staff at the vip bar are awsome.Yenci,Marisol,Leo,Alexandra,all deserve a special mention they go above and beyond treat people great.They make you feel at home there.my only complaint of the whole place is other guests not sharing pathway not moving over lots of room to pass one another if people move but some will not.That again has nothing to do with hotel or staff.thanks guys we will be back

Vista Sol Punta Cana is perfect resort for vacation. It was a memorable trip. Excellent staff, always smiling, superb service. Daily activities. We enjoyed it alot.

We are loving Vista sol only thing. Nobody speaks English, but other than that, we make things work, lucky thing I understand a little Spanish we got by but other than that it's great 🥰

The resort is really good. We stayed here for 7 days. The food,room service,activities, everything was perfect.

Booked a last minute vacation here, and had an amazing time! The place is beautiful, very clean and well kept. The staff was wonderful and very personable. They have games and activities all day long, not just for kids! Beach volleyball, soccer, dancing, etc. thank you to Johnathan and Yocairy (members of the entertainment team) for making our trip so much fun! 10/10 recommended

Superb location, clean beach, blue-turquoise water, good food and accommodation as well. A perfect place for relaxation!

My husband and I took a vacation here the resort is absolutely amazing! We stayed in the VIP section our suite was right on the beach ⛱ the view was INCREDIBLE! We had our own private bar we had all the drinks and food we wanted! 😎 We look forward to visiting again!
