Maloca is a new addition to the restaurant scene in San Marcos and they've done a fantastic job. The construction itself is beautiful and you sit on comfortable floor cushions surrounding low tables, it's a great spot for lunch, dinner, or just for a tea or fresh lemonade.. especially when they have live music on 😊

The menu is small but super tasty (the best kind of menu). When we visited we shared two dishes, the Shaksuka and the Buddha bowl, both were delicious. If you visit San Marcos I recommend visiting Maloca!

The Buddha bowl is amazing :D and the atmosphere very relaxed. Unfortunately they don't serve beers or coffee or tea.

Owner and staff extremely friendly resilient and versatile. Great venue for live music, calm meals with friends, and a truly cozy seat

Maloco only opened today, but is already one to remember. Chill place with comfi lounge beds to hangout. Beautiful bamboo structure and relaxed music. Mostly vegan food. The Buddha Bowl with quinoa, chickpeas and veggies is highly recommended.

Their pad thai with peanut sauce is awesome!
Service was ok. The cleanliness of the restaurant was meh. There were alot of flies and one decided to kamikaze into my drink. Also saw a dog peeing behind the couch 🙈.
