Eagle's Nest Atitlán - Yoga, Dance & Community

This was my second stay at The Eagles Nest and I once again had such a relaxing beautiful experience. Every aspect of my stay was 5 stars the rooms, yoga, workshops, ceremonies, staff and cafe. Every inch of Eagles Nest has the most incredible views of Lake Atitlan. Big thanks to the wonderful, welcoming staff. Gustavo, Gabriela, Marco, Wendy and many more thank you. Thanks to the beautiful yoga instructors for their knowledge and energy. Thanks to the cooks who provided such delicious and nourishing meals. I will be back♡

Amazing Yoga platform and delicious vegetarian food! We really loved it! We had some small scorpions in the rooms but the stuff removed them quickly. There wasn't always warm water at the showers but sauna was a big pleasant surprise. Shared rooms didn't have much place for the luggage, there could have some racks on the walls to hang clothes on and maybe a chair to put things on. I will definitely come back here!

I absolutely enjoyed my time at Eagle’s nest. Maybe too much because it was so hard to leave and see the rest of San Marcos. The food is soooo yummy and the rooms have some of the best views I’ve ever experienced. Gabriela at reception is so wonderful and I loved her energy. But also all of the workshops and yoga enables you to feel at your highest vibrational alignment! You gotta stay here if you’re in Atitlan

Honestly, this place is amazing :) sure, it's not easy to get to (especially at night with all the barking dogs), but the staff is great, the activities are fun and the view is spectacular! And of course, The Food... Easily the best I've found in Guatemala -- they make world class healthy meals. And if you feel like a drink, I recommend their Chilean wine!

Amazing the room #1 is beautiful the view is amazing.

I don't suggest you to walk after the dark time because the dog are afraid, they don't see you well so they will bark.
And you don't see them well to the street to get at the airbnb is mostly dark so have a flashlight or your phone

There is no water so bring and buy water before you get there even more if you arrived in the evening

Really cozy and surround the population it a nice space

The kitchen have the basic to cook 🍳 and a outside deck where you can enjoy your meal or do yoga !!!

Beautiful setting for yoga, great workshops, amazing food. This hostal was perfect for what we were looking for. A bit remote so not for everyone. But I absolutely loved it. Thank you for the great experience!

Unmatched yoga deck views! Great place to unwind and recharge. You can even see erupting Fuego volcano from the dining area! Stayed in Little Price room and it was beautiful, had my own deck and little kitchen. Three daily yoga classes at various times, delicious vegetarian meals (they always prepared vegan alternatives for me). I wish there were a little more advanced yoga classes, I felt like most classes were on the restorative slow side. But in-between classes the deck is open, so i did a lot of self practice. The views of the lake just don't get old, highly recommend waking up for sunrise, such pristine beauty. Nice, friendly stuff, most don't speak English. Which was fine by me, i was happy to practice my Spanish. Because of the unique location and concept it attracts some amazing people all over the world. I guarantee you will have some great conversations every time you have a meal or attend a workshop. I am overall very happy with my stay. If you're looking into deep yoga practice, you might want to look for a retreat instead as their daily classes are more for average level so everyone can attend.

We took 2 yoga classes here during our stay in San Marcos. Actually wanted to do just one but came back as the experience was so good the first time. Breathtaking views and excellent cafe with delicious food and drinks. The entire propert is very well managed and maintained. highly recommended!

My partner and I dropped in for a midday yoga class ($20 USD). It’s a beautiful spot and amazing views, and the instructor was great. Loved it, but recognize it may be outside the price range for some (cheaper options elsewhere).

The place is amazing! They host a variety of events and yoga classes that all as interesting as the other. I stayed in a female dorm, and although I never spend as much for accomodation the price is really reasonable considering 3 meals and 2 yoga classes a day are included in it.
AND the view is incredible!

This place is a trek to get to, but my god is it worth it! You almost don’t need to leave this incredible place, yoga, workshops different social nights on every night and not to mention this amazing 3 meals a day included! Only place to stay in Atitlán. Favourite part the outdoor shower and the yoga deck.

I visited the Guateflow festival last weekend, it was truely magical! Great performances, DJ’s, staff and vibe. Thank you!

Two things I was wondering about. First of all, is there a special (low) price for locals? I did not see that as an option in the ticketsystem online. Second, often was mentioned that the dancefloor is a “safe space”. To me this feels very contradictory with constantly being filmed by cameras and a drone, and seeing content posted on instagram without (as far as I know) consent.

Great place, chill vibes, high quality instructors. The food is excellent, although the drinks are a bit expensive. In general, Eagle's Nest is mid-high price point, but you get what you pay for. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and linens were high quality. I stayed in Astronomos King and it was excellent. Showers don't always have hot water. Composting toilets were clean. They have 4 friendly cats and a dog or two.

A great and beautiful retreat place. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The community was amazing.

Eagles nest is a magical place. You have the view of the lake and volcanos everywhere you go. The energy of the place is powerful. The people who work at Eagles Nest help make the experience authentic and fun. My favorites include Lisa, Lau, Gabriella, and Nikki, but there are many more.

The first two days I was at the nest it was solstice festival. Great music, yoga, dance and a cool, likeminded community. I spent 5 days total there and it frankly wasn’t enough. I will be back.

This place is a dream and worth every cent! I stayed in the dorms which was lovely - the room, the bed, the hammock, the showers - so good. The food was also very healthy and amazing. I left so nourished. Highly recommend the arial silks yoga class - such fun.

Thanks to everyone for my stay at The Eagle’s Nest. From the comfortable beds to the volcanic views to the delicious cacao’s after breakfast and morning yoga. I highly recommend the sauna!

This review is for yoga and the restaurant. The yoga class with Krissy we took was absolutely unique and enlivening rooted in place, astrology, and self love and with an amazing playlist. The view is epic and vibes super friendly and open. Will return!

Beautiful location in the mountains. I enjoyed a day here using the sauna facilities and the temazcal. The staff are really friendly and it’s a great place to just have a coffee!

Eagle’s nest is a wonderful place, one of the most stunning stays of my life. The atmosphere and the energy there are just amazing, so are the people, and I never wanted to leave. The views are priceless, the yoga classes are of very high quality and the food is simply delicious and mostly vegetarian!! 🫶🏼 I definitely want to come back, hopefully soon
