Amazing food!!!!
The burgers were well presented and delicious. The fish and chips, crunchy outside and delicious inside. The fish melted in the mouth.
The fish of the day, was also very good. Dessert was also delicious and staff was super helpful and friendly.
Price quality, very good.
We will definitely recommend and will for sure come back in our next trip.

Amazing dinner after the blue lagoon. We ordered almost all the seafood. Coming from italy, this restaurant’s ingredients’ quality is up to par, if not better than a lot of italian seafood restaurants. The pizza is incredibly good too, crispy, fresh, light, and the toppings are also very well sourced. The kids liked their burgers too.

Was a great stopping point before going to catch our flight at Keflavik. The atmosphere was great and the service was outstanding, with some great seafood on offer. We tried the soft shell crab which was divine.
Would totally recommend the place if you are in the area.

Please take a trip to Grindavik and have a meal at Fish House! The Hvitlauksristadur humar or “Roasted garlic lobster” appetizer is incredible, as was the soft shelled crab. No fishiness at all, it was fresh and delightful. The fish and chips were great too, was told it was whitefish or cod. My only request would be for one more piece of fish to make it a better portion. The service was super and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The kids had a choice of seafood, but went for burgers which they loved. Prices were within the range of similar restaurants around Iceland. It is rather expensive to dine here (in Iceland). Find your way off the beaten path and avoid the tourist traps, this please us great, we will be back.

When we arrived the place seemed to be empty and the surroundings "raw". However, the moment when food was served nothing else mattered. The fish and langoustines were delicious!

A super cozy place with great local food, good music and very kind and fast service. We went there two days in a row, as we really enjoyed the atmosphere and tasty food so much. This is a place to relax and enjoy life.

Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice, relaxed ambience. The fish and chips was so crispy, thin batter so it wasn't eating a mouth full of fried batter, loved it. The lamb was done perfectly tender, not too gamey while maintaining the special lamb flavor. The arctic char skin was crispy like chips, not fishy. Lobster soup just the right flavor but could use a little more lobster meat. Finally the desserts, chocolate lava cake which you can't go wrong and the ice cream with the Meringue was a definite surprised, the creamy ice cream with the crispy bits of meringue was perfect!

Amazing place with amazing tasty food, and lovely service.

While vacationing in Iceland, we came across this restaurant at dinner time. Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Good variety of food, all of it excellent. Staff spoke English, which was great since we didn't know any Icelandic. Nice variety of entrees as well. I had the tomato soup, which was excellent and surprisingly very filling. If we're back this way, we'd definitely come back in.

We stopped here for dinner on a Friday night, family of five. Reasonable priced and food was fresh and delicious! Kids had the fish burger “fried fish sandwich” and adults had the Arctic char. We loved the flavors! Would highly recommend if In the area.

What an amazing place! The fish and chips were so crisp and light on the inside, and Cole Slaw was fresh it all went down well with a Viking beer! Definitely go!!

This was a great find after we visited Blue Lagoon.

The decor is great, the staff friendly and even managed to speak to a couple of locals who use it as their local watering hole.

The service was attentive & friendly. The food was pretty good as well. The fish soup from the menu was fantastic. We had catch of the day as our main, which happened to be pan fried Halibut. Again, well cooked and tasty.

Would recommend this as a lunch stop of you are near the airport or Boue Lagoon.

I had the Arctic Char, which was great. I heard great things from my family about the Fish and Chips and the Seafood Soup.

Visited here while traveling, and it was exactly what we needed at that point in the day. All our dishes were perfectly prepared, delicious, and had good portions.

The service was great, and the server even passed a question I had about my food back to the kitchen and came back promptly with the answer. English was fluent as well.

Very cosy stop when you're driving along the rugged, rainy coast.

On vacation in Iceland and stopped in on New Years Day for lunch after a long morning of sight seeing.

We were glad to finally find somewhere that was open.

The place has great atmosphere and friendly staff it appered very clean and well organized.

We were seated right away and had our order taken and food out in barely any time at all.

The food was really good and just what we needed after lots of hiking and driving all over the area.

I had a cheese burger and fries, personal preference but the cheese was something a little too flavorful and maybe a bit spicy for my liking, preferring a milder cheddar myself, but it all tasted top quality.

Would highly recommend a visit to the Fish House.

We walked in without much expectation for lunch as our Airbnb was right by it and we were absolutely amazed. We ordered fish and chips and the surf n turf(lobster and lamb steak). Fish and chips were different from other traditional fish and chips we had. Thicker batter but delicious, their tartar sauce was awesome. Surf and turf was Alright, lamb steak was overdone but still tender. The place seems like it would be fun at night while having a drink or two.

Great food and service. The seafood soup was the best I ever had. The steak and fish of the day were also fresh and tasty.
