4x4 Adventures Iceland

4x4 adventures was a great way to start our vacation in Iceland. After landing we grabbed breakfast at this great restaurant, Hja Hollu before heading to our tour. Even before arriving I had a good feeling for a couple reasons. First 4 x 4 adventures had great reviews, second I had ask for some help through email with 4x4 adventures and received prompt friendly replies from Reuben. Reuben also ended up being our guide. The crew went over all the safety protocols very thoroughly before we left for our tour. We were given gear to wear to protect our clothes and stay warm. My husband and I, well I choose to ride double vs getting two singles because honestly I would have been an awful driver. My husband was expecting me to be yelling in his ear to slow down but I never had to because I felt so secure on the back seat. There were these great handles, an awesome back rest and spiky things on the foot rest that made my feet secure. I was able to sit back relax and enjoy the thrill of the ride and the beautiful scenery. We were off to a great start by having 4x4 adventures!

Favorite part of a two week trip to Iceland! We had Ali (?) as our guide for a 4-hour ATV tour, from the get-go he proved to be extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional, which helped us have a lot of fun along the way. They suit you up so you can stay warm and dry no matter the weather conditions, which means you can actually focus on enjoying the ride. Would totally recommend and would even go as dar as to book again in the future!

Very easy great experience. Went and got the bikes and went out to the volcano. Great ride easy bikes to operate and highly recommend to anyone wanting to bike but have some help biking. Me and my 14 year old son biked 19 miles round trip and had 2 bars left of the 5 bars for battery.

Rides are available at different times throughout the day. We did the two hour tour. It was easy riding. Lots of history explained. Alli was fantastic. Friendly and knowledgeable. 5 Stars from the U.S.A.

Man this place is tha shi+. Booked a whole day tour in the canam quad and it was amazing! If you enjoy off roading and seeing nature then this is def for you. I’m so glad i found this place. The staff is awesome as well. We were greeted by a labrador puppy when we got back. I had Jon as the guide and he was great. I def recommend this establishment 100%.

Super cool experience. Make sure you dress warm. Specifically bring extra gloves. Your hands will be burning. We had to stop our tour halfway because our hands hurt so much. The tour guides were nothing but great. They were very attentive and thoughtful.

Yes! Book it! Stop hesitating. You won’t regret it! Not only is it so much fun, but you see a lot of important Iceland moments too like craters, the beach and where North America and Europe converge. The guides are amazing. Such a great company, great day and great memories.

I booked the one-hour panorama ATV tour and had a lot of fun. Despite being a complete beginner, I managed (with some encouragement) to keep up and even started to enjoy myself after getting used to the vehicle. Your fingers will definitely hurt if you aren’t used to driving an ATV. But the spectacular views and the experience are worth it!

Our guide was very accommodating and easy to talk to. The pickup at my hotel worked smoothly. The explanations and instructions were very precise.

4x4 Adventures Iceland was absolutely amazing. Equipment was in great shape and clean. Driver and guide were friendly. We did the 2 hour experience and it had a great variety of terrain and spectacular Iceland views. We managed to get road, dirt, sand, mountain/hills, beach and lava rock. Plus some beautiful flowers and horses. Highly recommend this company and experience so close to Blue Lagoon; it’s a perfect add on to your stay there.

The best part of our Bachelor party weekend. We got a private tour for 10 guys for about 2hrs. I asked if they would do anything special to the bachlor and they dressed him up in a chicken outfit. In May, the weather can change every 15 min from hail, snow, rain, to sun and it's cold. Dress appropriately. When we got there they added tow additional layers of weather proof gear. The same gear a fisherman would wear, I didn't think we would be able to move...haha. They also have boots and gloves for you to wear if needed.

The route took us throw the rock terrain, mountains, and the beautiful coastline. We also got a voucher to the local restaurant Papa's for a beer and burger for $22 USD, which is an amazing deal.

Super fun Jeep tour to a non active volcano that still steals because it’s a water volcano. Pretty awesome to see and was something fun to do while staying in Grindavík for the night. Highly recommend!

Our favourite experience whilst in Iceland. Will not be disappointed and we are so glad we did this whilst we were here. ATV for 4 hours was incredible and such awesome group of tour guides. Favourite tour guides out of everything we did in Iceland.
You don’t feel rushed or like they are awaiting the next group of people. Something we felt quite a bit with some of the excursions you can do in Iceland.

They were a life saver - we rented their bikes to bike to the volcano eruption site in July 2023. It was a long hike and the e-bikes made it super easy for us. Going up took a little over 40 min, coming down was faster, ~ 30 min.

Jonas was a legend and made the experience unforgettable along with the stunning views of the Icelandic mountains. He took me through routes that really put the quads through their paces, but that's what made it soooo fun. Highly recommend!

4x4 Adventures in Grindavik were awesome! Did the 3-4 hour ATV "Trip to the Moon" excursion. Super nice people!!! Had been on an ATV some years back. They tell you what you need to know. Totally experienced all different types of terrain. Exciting and full of adrenaline. Thanks for the great time!

Great time with Ruben rippin it up bub. I'd go full monty and do the 3/4 hr ride. See some very cool things and they mix in a few walking excursions that break up the trip. Overall we did like 70km... send it!

AMAZING. Probably the best part of my trip to Iceland. About two hours long so you really feel like you're getting some value. Incredible views!

Great fun! Especially in muddy paddles 🤣 and shower with a pressure washer after the ride 🤣🤣🤣
