At first we came here just for the pool. Later we found that this pool belongs to a wonderful hotel with a well equipped campsite. (Separate toilets,tables and benches around with fences)You can choose to stay in the campsite or ask for a room if there is one. (Prices are different)

You need to buy tickets before you stay in the campsite and enjoy the thermal pool, separate shower rooms and toilets ,they also have hair dryer!!) Really hot water and georges view !

The interior design of the hotel got a vintage vibe. Really love it and hope to come back again one day!

Wasn't sure what to make of the large building when we arrived, it used to be a boarding school. The campsite is behind it, owner is really friendly and helpful. I had heard great reviews about the food in the restaurant at the hotel but it was closed when we were there. One shower, very clean toilets and outdoor tables and sinks. No cooking facilities. It was a glorious morning when we woke up so we paid to use the stunning hot pool, you have to shower beforehand of course (also great facilities), it was absolutely bliss, what a start to the day

One of the best campsites I’ve stayed at in Iceland. Open early May, beautiful location, clean facilities and HOT water. Very helpful owners!

Loved it! Only 1000 ISK per person. Nice clean hot pool with great view. There is bathroom, shower. No lockers. Private - at one moment there was only 4 persons besides us :)

Great camp site with clean shower and bathroom. It’s managed by the hotel next to the camp site. The swimming pool by the campground is amazing. Definitely one of the best naturally heated pools in Iceland. It’s also a great spot for bird and seal watching.

It was a pleasure to stay at this camping. Big thermal pool had been the biggest surprise, we used it in the evening and in the morning, it was very relaxing! Totally recommended!

Campsite has a beautiful view and includes a hot shower and seating area. The geothermal pool on site was also amazing. What made my stay is the hospitality of the owners. I had arrived low on fuel and was unable to to use the gas station on site. The owner offered to go out of his way to accommodate me with my short issue.

Very nice view. Facilities are ok. The pool next to it is really nice, perfect to go before bedtime. The owners are so nice and helpful. Don’t be at all discouraged by the look of the hotel building.

Reception for the camping is inside the hotel. The staff were very helpful. 2900isk for our campervan without electricity. Another 1000isk each to use the AMAZING geothermal swimming pool. The showers and bathrooms are very clean. Hot water for dishes. Location is beautiful. The gentleman working gave us advice on where to see whales as we continued north and which roads to pay careful attention to conditions. Would absolutely recommend.

No crowd, nice conditions, everything is included, they also have huge hot pool for 700 ISK per person.

Amazing camp site, lets you use hotel pool for a small fee, clean amenities with warm water.

Best camping in the Westfjords

Wunderschöner, abgelegener und ruhiger Campingplatz in den Westfjorden. Warmwasser, Duschen und WC vorhanden (ohne Aufpreis). Den Pool kann man auch als Campinggast für 1000 ISK pro Person benützen. Das Wasser ist angenehm warm (Kann aber unterschiedlich sein, da aus natürlicher Quelle) und die Aussicht vom Pool ist sehr schön. Das Aussehen vom Hotel zu dem der Campingplatz gehört, schreckt etwas ab, allerdings zu unrecht.

Der Campingplatz ist zugegeben etwas teuer aber es gibt diesen verdammt riesigen Pool und der macht alles wieder gut^^

Anmelden/Bezahlen beim Hotel. Dusche, Toilette inklusive. Gute Ausstattung und gepflegt.

Pool wird mit Thermalwasser gefüllt ^^

WC Gebäude & Dusche sehr sauber mit warmem Wasser. Campingplatz mit toller Aussicht und Swimmingpool mit Geothermal-Wasser ist die 1.000 ISK wert! Sehr netter Hotel & Campingplatzbetreiber!
