Nauteyri - Steinshús

We were in a desperate need of coffee and happened to stumble across this cute place. The owner was so nice and gave us an entire can filled with delicious coffee and some local pastries as well. The view was amazing and we were able to sit outside in the sun.

We would definitely recommend going here, we loved it!

Really nice place to stop for a coffe and cake. You will meet two grandmother really friendly and helpfull ;)

The shop is quaint, cozy, and filled with books and records. The owner is a lovely guy that can whip up a delicious coffee and showed us different herbs/mushrooms local to the area. Located 30 minutes away from a glacier and 2 mins away from small hot spring a bit off the beaten path which is a plus.

Looking for a perfect place for a coffee break? Go to steinhús! Very warm welcome, good coffee, a nice place to sit outside and the most amazing view.

Cosy cafe with good cake that has lots of inventory of Steinn Steinarr (famous Icelandic poet).
There is also a guest house for 4 people.
If you ask nice enough there is even a natural hot pod close by.

Great place for a coffe and cake ;-) nice collection of vinyls too. But geolocation is off and You need to go a bit further.

Just drinking now a real italian espresso in the middle of nowhere. Such a lovely place.

Zapadla kavarna s dvěmi babickami, které vám naserviruji domaci koláče, dorty a waffle s dokonalou kavou.

Bonus je zde muzeum slavného Islandskeho básníka.

Ein wirklich schöner und ruhiger Ort, um entspannt einen sehr leckeren hausgemachten Kuchen zu essen (Carrot Cake und Chocolate Cake sind sehr zu empfehlen). Auch die beiden Besitzerinnen waren herzlich und sehr sympathisch! ❤

Sehr schönes, heimeliges und herzliches Cafe. Die Waffeln wurden sehr frisch gemacht, es gab dazu verschiedene Sorten Marmelade und Sahne, die heiße Schokolade war gut, wir haben gratis Wasser angeboten bekommen.
Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich!
Wir fanden es sehr schön und kommen bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder..♡

Heerlijke zelfgebakken taart op een prachtige afgelegen locatie.

Endroit super super sympa, que ce soit pour un café,, une tartine au saumon gravlax ou un morceau de gâteau au chocolat !!

Sehr nettes Personal und eine leckere Tagessuppe. 😋
