Guesthouse Borg

Just what my family needed to stay one night to view the nearby volcano. The guesthouse is simple and clean. The family room was spacious enough for us to not bump into each other. The breakfast offerings of toast with cheese, meat, and/or jam and cereal made a quick and easy breakfast option for us. The hosts were pleasant in the very brief time we saw them.

Clean affordable place. Rather humid in winter but it's great so your skin does not get dry because of Icelandic wind ( and you can open the window if it's too humid. It does not let io much cold in).
Basic breakfast like cereal, toast and coffee. There's a kitchen so you can prepare something yourself.
You can leave all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher.

You can leave your car outside but I don't think you can park it inside.
Owners are professional and friendly.

Very nice guesthouse. The owners are very welcoming and helpful, the house is regularly well cleaned, and the bedroom was very comfortable! There is a washing machine so you can clean your clothes.
The only thing that could be missing would be a clothes dryer. Otherwise, everything was very fine :)

Fantastic place to stay. Close to Airport, Blue Lagoon. Nice room, friendly hosts. Reasonably priced.

Very pleasant stay, owners are kind and helpful. Location is great - close to the airport, the town of Grindavik itself offers many places to visit.

its in a small town near blue lagoon. very convenient location. petrol station, supermarket, foodstore nearby. there is a washing machine u can use as u like.

Very nice guesthouse, close to the airport and the volcano, separate toilet and shower, nice kitchen and breakfast.

Ganz feine , saubere, wenn auch einfache Unterkunft in unmittelbarer Vulkannachbarschaft (5 Autominuten) ohne "Schnick Schnack" , aber mit allem, was benötigt wird (Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler...) -- und dazu sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis mit netten Gastgebern, die im Haus wohnen. Zimmer schön groß und gut heizbar; Frühstück gut und ausreichend zum Selbstmachen. Das Publikum der 8 Zimmer ist international und war bei unserem Aufenthalt sehr sehr angenehm--- also: Volle Punktzahl !!! Danke für dieses einmalige Ereignis (Vulkan!!)-- das erlebst du definitiv nie wieder in deinem Leben!!!!!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Alles sauber. Frühstück konnten wir uns schon um 04:30 Uhr machen.
Gut vom Flughafen Kevlarik zu erreichen.

Il posto è stato completamente rinnovato e lo gestisce da poco una ragazza (che parla benissimo italiano) gentilissima. Fantastica accoglienza in tutto!

Familiäres, kleines Gästehaus. Nicht weit vom "aktuell aktiven Vulkan" und nicht so weit vom Flughafen Keflavik. Gute Fisch Restaurants.
