Lágafell Guesthouse

The best guest house we visited in Iceland. The loft is the best, with windows on three sides and a balcony all capable of viewing the northern lights! It has a private bath, kitchen, and a well stocked fridge for breakfast. We requested a room late one night and our host rushed over to accommodate us in every way. We even called them the next day to ask if they could help another stranded traveler we found on our way out of town. Can't do any better. Lovely home, lovely people, lovely waterfront town.

Very nice clean place.
Our room was located at the loft and we had our own kitchen and shower room. Breakfast was simple and good. The only downside was amount of food left for us. one egg per person.
The landlady was kind enough to meet us after midnight to show us the room.
WiFi signal was strong :)

Cozy guesthouse with spacious rooms. Two kitchen common areas with refrigerators available for guest use. Host is very friendly and had a wealth of suggestions for the local area. We followed her recommendation for the nearby Fish House Bar & Grill (excellent!). Two bathrooms with showers. One needed some repair, but perfectly serviceable.

Location is prime for getting to Keflavík for an early flight; it's a 20-minute drive, and there's an N1 500-750m away to top up your fuel.

Finally a guesthouse that exceeds your expectations. A totally pleasant stay with such a lovely hostess (Margret) who was super attentive with us. She really cares about the cleanliness (you can smell the freshness of the bed from far away🌸). Perfect location and overall service. We recommend this place if you don't want to end up to "another average stay". Thanks Margret!

Only stayed one night, but it was really nice, the other guests were friendly and not obnoxious, the owner was very friendly, and it was well kept, clean, and stocked with good foods. I would highly recomend!

Great House, very clean rooms, cozy feel and nice art. Very friendly service and lots of information of what to get and see around Grindavík. Can Recommend, also very very fair prices.

Absolutely LOVE this guest house! The homeowner is Very nice, speaks excellent English and will help u out with adventure destinations and places to eat!

Beautiful and cheap guesthouse. The owner is a very friendly woman who gave us a lot of insider-tipps for our travel.

Location : Very center of Grindavik, Blue lagoon was 10 mins drive away , very close to petrol stations and Netto discount super market

Check in : Easy but please be aware its only after 4 pm

Room : Very spacious and light , nice decor , comfy bed and pillows
Wifi : very fast
No shoe policy at house - we were fine with it

Shared kitchen : Nice utensils , tea/coffee making facilities , plenty utensils and cutlery

Shared toilet & bath : very clean

Breakfast : Bread, spreads, milk, tomatoes , ham & cheese - a basic but ok

Power went off during the night , so couldn't take a proper shower as I think the hot water must have ran out , we had an early morning flight to catch so dint bother

Maison d’hôte ayant un bon rapport qualité prix (petit dej inclus, certains disent que c est décevant mais je trouve ça correct ).
Très bonne literie, chambre sympa, cuisine assez petite.
Bien situé car proche de l’aéroport.

Guesthouse très propre, spacieuse, avec cuisine et petit déjeuner. L'hôtesse, Margaret, est très sympa, accueil chaleureux et agréable.
Si vous décidez de faire le tour de l'Islande dans le sens anti-horaire, après votre arrivée à Keflavic, c'est la bonne étape au meilleur rapport qualité prix !

Muy recomendable. Hospitalidad,habitaciones amplias,cocina preparada,baños bien equipados y amplios(dispone de varios). Y Grindavík de los pueblos más bonitos vistos de toda Islandia.
