Anita's guest house

We had such a lovely time during our stay here. The hosts were super nice and checked up on us to see if we needed anything. The place was super clean and came with a multitude of snacks! We will definitely return to Iceland because of our experience with Anita and Aleck!

Her father picked me up at the airport (very early) . She took me to and from the Blue Lagoon. I was grateful for that, and the room was clean and comfortable.
There was food in the kitchen, I remember it being a little dirty, but nothing I couldn't tolerate. There wasn't a wash cloth to wash dishes, I think it was a sponge something. And no place for them to dry.
I ate dinner out. But overall it was a good experience.
Bathroom was fine. I showered at Blue Lagoon. (Required) March 2019
My daughter also stayed at the end of March, no complaints.

We were greeted as we were unloading our bags from the car by a young gentleman who opened the door for us and gave us a quick and insightful tour around the place. He showed us the rooms and gave us a choice of which we'd like to stay in as no other guests were expected that night. We took the one on the far left and the beds were extremely comfortable. We didn't try any of the other beds but I imagine they're all similar. The common area is big enough, with two big armchairs where I fell asleep for a bit - a testament to how comfortable it was. It has to tables with 4 chairs each and two more tables and chairs in the kitchen. It's also well decorated with a consistent enough theme. On the functionality side the oven works well, so does the toaster. Enough cutlery for a full house, and same with plates and alike. Also has a recycling bin!
All in all its a cosy inexpensive place to stay at. Don't have any complaints and found no actual faults to point out.

Me and my mom stayed at Anita's guesthouse for one night about one month ago. It was our first night in Iceland and we both agreed this was the best guesthouse we visited in Iceland. Anita is very friendly and gave us very useful information about our next day trip. Also the guesthouse was very clean and the beds amazingly comfortable.

Location is lovely, food nearby is so tasty, sightseeing nearby too, local shops with really friendly people. Owner leaves a helpful booklet with tips inside to where you should and shouldn't go for food etc. Overall very welcoming and lovely stay. Thank you so much.

Great host who is super understanding and flexible. We had issues with our travel plans in getting to the accomodation and Anita was super understanding and accomodating in assisting us

Absolutely phenomenal host. Very hospitable and breakfast was provided. Ask the host about suggestions for local attractions. Great jumping point from the Blue Lagoon!

Lovely and perfect place

非常舒適的民宿。有設施完善的廚房、衛浴，以及舒適的臥房、餐廳。最棒的是，主人熱誠貼心，並提供免費自助早餐。

Très bel hébergement. Accueil très sympa et chaleureux.
Tout est visiblement récemment rénové. Chambre propre, literie confortable. (Nous avions la plus petite chambre, voir photo. Les autres sont plus spacieuses).
Il y a deux salles de bain. Elles sont grandes et très propres.
Le petit dej est très bien, on y mange à sa faim.
Parking facile.
Plusieurs bon restos dans le coin. On peut aussi cuisiner sur place.
Je recommande cet hébergement. Top. Calme et surtout propre.

Bel posto dove oltre al servizio non delle classiche guesthouse, ti offrono la colazione selfservice...praticamente ti mettono a disposizione tutto l'occorrente per fartela quindi il prezzo finale è più che conveniente tenendo presente che risparmi un pasto.
Camere e bagni puliti e ordinati, manca solo la tv per il resto c'è tutto.
Il gestore, un ragazzo giovane almeno quel giorno, molto simpatico e disponibile...
Il posto è situato in centro città a 6/7 km da blue lagoon..
