Kvikan (Saltfish Museum) & Tourist Information Center

Neat little mesuem telling the history of saltfish trade. Perhaps March was yet not in high tourist season, the museum was nice and quite, leaving us plenty of time and space to go through the displays.

When I went was close because was a lot of earthquakes before eruption and was damage in the saloon.

Very helpful tourist information! Worth getting info from the locals about things to see in out of the way places. Highly recommend.

Perfect for families

Très joli petit musée sur l'histoire de la pêche au cours des siècles précédents. Pas d'hésitation c'est gratuit, il fait chaud avec un vestiaire à l'entrée histoire de faire sécher ses affaires. Il n'y a pas grand chose dans le coin alors arrêtez-vous. Accueil super sympa.

Museu incrível.. contando detalhes sobre a importância da pesca na região.
É cobrada uma taxa para uso do banheiro e lanche disponível para os visitantes ( café, água , doce tradicional ( lembra a orelha de gato) e chocolate .
