Let's put it this way - for family 2 adults and 2 kids - if I wanted the same level of accommodation, food, service, drinks, ski-in/out, etc. - I would need to pay 3 times more anywhere in Austria for 5 days (4 nights) than here for 8 nights.

Not to talk about living at such elevation, views, night sky, air, style.

Perfect experience last year and we go this year again and planning for 2025 ...onwards.

Wow, wow, wow. What a great place. The food has very good quality and well sized portions. Coffee, tea and water are for free and the other drinks had moderate prices!
We were pleased and filled even as vegans.
The rooms were spacious, modern and clean.
The location has beautiful mountain views!

if you are planning in 2024 the blue ski slope next to Hotel lift is not working they also can shut all ski lifts and you can stay blocked at the hotel or out the hotel if you are skiing on other side ,nice views to take some pictures , staff ca be very rude not really good food.

Great place at great location with amazing views, hot tub and sauna, play room and lounge. Amazing breakfast and absolutely stunning dinner options. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend!!!

I like the concept where you have coffee, tea, and soft drinks for free for the whole day. Beer and wine is good quality for the price (Pilsner for 2e). The staff is super friendly and helpful. Of course the maintenance gets difficult in winter so do not expect everything to work 100%. But I would highly recommend the place for off-beat skitouring and family friendly skiing at least with older, medium skilled kids.

Very nice and super located hotel in the grossglockner, the staff is superb and the rooms are nice and all have a wonderful view. The hotel is a good start point for walks in the summer and for skiing at the winter. The hotel offers half board and we had nothing to complain

Good beds, good breakfast and the sauna is large and clean. Dinner is a surprise so eat somewhere else if you're picky. Self-service drinks systems works good. Free water and coffee. Pillows are indeed bad so bring your own pillow if needed. Sufficient parking. Get up early and explore the mountain.

I had the pleasure of staying at this guesthouse recently, located at the roof of Austria. The scenery is beautiful. The proprietors of the guesthouse are very courteous and bent over backwards to help.
The rooms are very spacious and surgically clean... you could operate in there!
The breakfast menu had everything one would desire.
If google would let me give you 10 stars, I would.

One of the best place in the Alps I have ever visited.
The trip to the hotel is extraordinary adventurous but you will definitely love it.
The staff is overhelmingly Czech and German speeking, very friendly and always at your disposal.
Food is excellent!
Skiing is fantastic on the kilometrs long slopes.

One of the best hotels. And location is very cool.

Cooked tried to kill me with enormous amount of delicious food. Beer is great. Pilsner is much better than local beer. I would state that this place is one of the best hotels in Grossglockner region. Yes you can see Glockner moutain range from your room window.

World's most amazing drive, and a wonderful view at the hotel. Best part of our trip. WiFi is a bit spotty, but that's to be expected. This is a must stay spot if in the area.

Gosh, what an experience! In the middle of nowhere, high in the mountain, a place where murder mysteries should play out, far away from the outside world. All the comforts of the 21st century, full board is included (but then, there is nowhere else to eat for miles). Everybody should try it once.

Great family hotel really welcoming. The rooms are clean and tidy, shower was powerful which is suprising on the top of the world! Food was excellent. A great hotel.

Great location right in the middle of Großglockner. While it's not exactly fancy, the rooms are nice and comfortable, the breakfast is good and the people running the place are a very friendly bunch. Definitely recommended!

To my mind the personnel is very polite and not pushy.What I missed is short list of dishes on the menu but that is understandable on such altitude.We enjoyed every minute up there.The scenery,people,silence ...morning waking up by a cowbell.We'll be back !!
