Tons of manga and merch, I was surprised at how reasonable the pricing was considering how most manga stores are really expensive. Not busy at all. The owner was super sweet and it was overall a great experience. Definitely my new favorite.

We took the kids to this store for a specific graphic book that one of the kids found online, she bought it.

If you love Japanese animation and story telling you should visit, you'll get an authentic, old book store feel and a lot nerdy good time.

Even though the main focus here is manga and literature, I found a lot of magazines and guides on video games. The selection here is unlike any anime store in the Lower Mainland. If you like the odd 90s CIB computer program, fan-made doujinshi, merch for obscure anime, and even Japanese hobbyist books, this is the place for you. The owner is lovely and helped me source a book from Japan for much cheaper than I saw online. And she knew I was going to spend too much money here, and told me to leave. Very fair ;)

Manga books galore! Very nice owner who had also accepted donated old books and serials. Owner has a great attitude that books should not be thrown away/recycled and should be given away as much as possible.

I was in a vacation in Vancouver and I decided to browse through this anime store and I was mind blown because it has so much items inside it that can't be found in a lot of anime stores. Some are even only a dollar or two or half price. I live in Toronto and I've been to so many anime stores here but they just can't compare to this one. I think the store sign in the front should be replaced though because it says "Ratel Wireless Solutions". I had to double check because of it so maybe other people had a hard time finding it as well.

The absolute best manga shop in all of Vancouver! Huge selection of Japanese manga and great English selections, the shop owner was also super super friendly. Great place!

Amazing bookstore with manga in Japanese, English, and Chinese. There are Japanese non fiction and novels, and magazines at the back. There are even reference books like dictionaries and encyclopedia! The lady working inside is very kind and genuinely knows what books she carries (as well as the approximate location). Make sure to wear a face mask when entering the store. There is such a wide selection that I wish the store is bigger with more bookshelves to display all the books. Everyone in the store is very friendly.

I was surprised with a lot of different Japanese materials here. I also had a nice book shopping because of its interesting selection of new and old books. It is also comfortable inside and had a good ambiance. My sister loves manga and I brought her random ones and she loved it. The owner is very friendly and would recommend a lot of good books.

They have a great selection of anime/manga merchandise that you can't easily find in Canada. They have manga in both English and Japanese and the owner Atsuko can even order stuff in for you.

Spent way more than I was planning here haha but it was such a lovely shopping experience. The shop is tight and there's lots to look at. Amazing selection. I ended up finding 2 hard to find volumes I'd been looking for. Owner is lovely, she had lots of recommendations and was great to talk to.

Could not recommended this store enough! Stocked full of manga both old and new as well as a wealth of cool trinkets, movies, and magazines. The lady who runs it is a absolute gem and is very helpful, checking in the back for additional mangas I wanted that weren't on the shelf and having them! Overall a great experience and will definitely be back.

A very good selection of both new and pre-owned sets, along with some random Tamiya & Hasegawa model kits. The compact and 'filled to the brim' layout is similar to some manga shops in Japan. Last but not least, a very friendly and helpful Lady boss!

I totally recommend this store! The lady who runs it is not only sweet, but also extremely knowledgable when it comes to manga. She gave me some really good recommendations and overall was really fun to talk to. The store had a really good selection of manga in Japanese and English, and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely be coming back!

This bookstore definitely has hidden treasures that are old, rare, or new! There are sooo many things in shop with more in the back room (make sure you ask the owner if you're looking for something specifically). The owner is also very knowledgeable and kind and has helped me on different occasions. Prices are good and I prefer buying rare items from here than on eBay where people list things for more than triple the price. I would definitely come back for my anime + manga needs!

Awesome place to get manga in Japanese, especially if you're into the older shoujo and shounen stuff - they have tons of older volumes for great prices and a lot of them have furigana, which is great for Japanese learners. The store also has some translated manga and merch too, as well as a lovely collection of BL and doujinshis :) On top of everything else, the owner is super friendly and easy to talk to. I'll definitely be going back as soon as possible!

The owner is a very kind lady who uses her wide knowledge about manga to help customers find the type of books they're looking for. The price range is from $1~8, and you can buy an entire set of manga around $30. There are also Japanese novels and even middle school textbooks. The store also has toys and figures. Very nice place for people who are interested in Japanese culture.

Love this store! I usually go here to buy my favorite manga. The owner is super nice and always helpful. If she doesn't have it in stock, then she can order it in for you. I'm recently learning Japanese and she also helped me find some good easy recommendations for me to practice reading with. I definitely recommend you to check out Half moon!

This place is excellent! You can find some really amazing gems in here for reasonable prices. Atsuko is very friendly and so passionate about what she does. She also takes orders and pre-orders so you can get your hands on Japan exclusives or vintage pieces that are not in stock😍
