Have had Motion in for a few jobs over the 3 years we've been in Fergus but most recently for our Hybrid Furnace install. We had a great experience overall. Sean was very upfront and honest when quoting the job and explained everything honestly. The install techs were very courteous and took the time to explain everything to us after the install. We worked with MEC on our new project The Lobby Bar in Elora. They upgraded electrical. Installed all lighting and equipment. Installed outlets. Hardwiring. Inspected and maintained fire equipment. I only learned about Motion Electrical through Google searches and reading reviews. Everyone in the process was great to work with for the installation of a 240V outlet in my garage. Everyone replied promptly, the job was done quickly, and the price was very reasonable.

What a great company! When certain parts weren't available Sean went the extra mile and proposed viable alternatives. They returned calls when other companies didn't and that was greatly appreciated.

We had a problem with our older gas fireplace, which we use extensively in the winter for supplementary heating. The service was prompt, within a few days and professional; the technician did a terrific job and got everything sorted out and the fireplace is working great. I highly recommend them.

We were experiencing electrical brownout/blackouts in many different parts of the house several times which eventually self corrected. The electrician examined the panel and many circuits and said there were no apparent issues after an hour when another incident occurred. He determined that it was the line from the city to the meter, which turned out to be correct. The city fixed it and the motionehc team came out great. Thank you.

First we had a quote for the job, very quickly. I wasn't expecting it to be done for a few weeks. Then I got an email saying they would be here today. I thought it was just to run a propane line. The stove to be installed later. Well we had a gas stove converted to propane and hooked up to the existing propane lines today!

Motion came out to troubleshoot my very old furnace that would not start. I was very impressed with their knowledge and professionalism and will definitely be using them when the time comes to replace it and for any other projects I might have.

They responded to our request to install our stovetop and wall oven in such short notice. Their administrative department was very transparent regarding their contracting process; the information needed from us to coordinate their services; and were able to provide a detailed quote that was very reasonable for the work completed. Their scheduling was flexible and the staff arrived on time without delay. Special thanks to Kent and Mathews! You both did an amazing job. Even when there were technical obstacles to overcome, both Kent and Mathews kept our family informed of the situation and provided alternatives and solutions that avoided damaging any products or the surrounding area of our home. They were very informative and their company was supportive to accomplish the task. MEC/MHC even took the time to send additional people to help install the wall oven in order to ensure it was safely and aesthetically secured without causing harm to the team. Used this company a few weeks ago for our Vet Clinic in Rockwood. Matthew and his partner were punctual and did a great job installing new light bulbs for the whole practice

Motion Electrical Contracting did all of the gas and electrical for our pool installation. They were highly professional from our first call to the office to the completion of the job. On site Sean and his co-workers were extremely efficient, courteous, personable and professional. Their communication was excellent answering any and all questions that we had. I felt their fees were very reasonable particularly given the very high quality of their work. We would, without hesitation, highly recommend this company.

Our company has been using MEC for a few years now. This year when they came to complete the annual inspection on our fire extinguishers and emergency lighting, they did a demonstration for our staff. Ryan and Sean explained to staff the importance of extinguishers, how to properly use them and when to use them. They set up a small fire and staff were able to use the extinguisher to put it out. Can't say enough about Motion Electric! Had new kitchen lights and dimmers installed this morning. Our electrician was efficient, cleaned up after himself and was most pleasant. We highly recommend this company if you have any electrical that needs doing.

Highly recommend the team at MEC. We've had our electrical panel upgraded, hot tub wired, pool pump replaced, and pool heater serviced. Work is excellent, team is highly knowledgeable, professional and personable. They can do it all, don’t hesitate to call them.
