Wonderful staff, very caring. Took a little longer because of Hospital overload, but I appreciate their service and time.

Had to take my 73 year old grandfather to emery at his diabetic doctors orders if he couldn’t get in to see reg dr. He lives in the country so the two hospital options were either Guelph or Fergus (they are both about the same distance) I decided to take him to Fergus because I’ve been to both options in the past and Fergus was normally the better choice. Boy was that not the case today, after waiting over 3 hours he asked a nurse what the hold up was as he’d been waiting for awhile (YES IM AWARE MORE SERIOUS AILMENTS GO FIRST) the nurse rudely snapped back at him that maybe he should read the sign about priority. but he too is not feeling well and just wanted to know approx how much longer the wait, after 4 hours he get into a room with a dr that HORRENDOUS bedside manners. Told him and I quote “well maybe if you took better care of yourself then you wouldn’t have to waste time here waiting for me” I understand That with Covid everyone is even more stressed out and things are tough and doctors are seeing terrible things And are terribly overworked but that’s not the common man/women’s fault. I just know I also work in a medical setting and myself and my coworkers would never think to speak to someone in the ways that these people did tonight.

Stay away from this hospital .they put me in a room for 4 hours waiting .Still waiting .the girl with glasses who checked my registration she is a racist .the traits white people differently.

On September 15th I was taken to emerg by ambulance mid afternoon. The EMTs and Dr. Kumar decided I had strained my back. I told them that I heard my back crack and also that I was learched forward about 10 degrees. No x-ray..
The following Wednesday I went to the Georgetown hospital at 4.00am. I had an x-ray and I was told I had a compression fracture.
My suggestion to you is to listen to the patient. I was in agony for that entire time.
