Heather's Bakery Cafe

Today I brought a friend to have lunch here. It was her first time. We both enjoyed the delicious soup and she had a scone too. I am originally from England and this place feels like a little piece of home. It’s lovely to have your tea in a china tea cup with a tea pot.
I brought home some sausage rolls for my husband and he loved them. Said they are the best he has had. I have been asked to bring home more lol. The prices are so reasonable and the food is really good. You won’t be disappointed if you visit there for a meal or just for a coffee/tea and a treat!!!

Excellent home style bakery. They have something for everyone. The homemade bread is just like grandmom's. Their soup and sandwiches make for a great inexpensive lunch. Their squares cheesecakes, loads and scones are absolutely delicious.

Heather always makes amazing cakes, but this Harry Potter cake was one of the best! My son loved it!

Went here for the first time today and I was impressed with how good the food and coffee is! Raspberry white chocolate scone was amazing and the gluten-free cheese bun was SO GOOD!! Coffee was fresh and staff were nice. Lots of indoor seating and a couple tables outside. I will definitely be back. Also, bonus points for the cleanest washrooms I've ever seen. Much appreciated when my toddler needed to go and it was squeaky clean inside.

If you want to know what heaven tastes like it's Heather's butter tarts! Nice little bakery and the coffee was good. We shall return.

We visit this bakery now and then, for a nice croissant, a chocolate mousse pie (+++ would really recommend!) or another small sweet treat. It's a small bakery, but there is a nice seating area and you have a coffee with a treat and enjoy the view of the people walking by on Georgetown's main street. We will visit more often 👏🏼

I eat here rather frequently. Usually go for the sandwiches, which are top notch. Favourites: sundried tomato and turkey, brisket, turkey club. The treats are to die for! They sometimes have pumpkin pie brownies that are unbeatable! I love this place.

I get to Georgetown once a year and a trip to Heather's is a must. They have great baked goods and some main dishes to take away. Then while you are making the decision about what to buy you can sit in for a coffee and a desert.

The staff is always super pleasant and it's always bustling! It's nice that they have such a variety of options and can make to order. They always have ample stock of baked goods to choose from if you decide to just stop by and pick something up. Our tummies are always happy!

There is no better spot in Georgetown for lunch. Its importance within the community cannot be understated. To have that much good food at such competitive prices makes it an oasis in Georgetown's gastronomic desert. When Heather goes I go.

This is a great little bakery in Georgetown on Main Street. Stopped by for a quick snack and brought home some fresh brownies. Snacks were excellent and very reasonably priced. Very good selection of fresh goods. Had the Hello Dolly, Pumpkin Fudge brownie (awesome!), Cheese Bread, and two Triple Chocolate brownies. We will definitely be visiting again and will upload photos later.

Stopped in while at the Saturday Farmers Market for coffee and a butter tart. We had the brewed/drip coffee (they do espresso-based drinks too). It was fresh tasting, could be a bit stronger. I take "just a bit of milk" and DH takes regular milk. They took the time to ensure that each was to our liking which is much appreciated. The butter tart was average size with flaky pastry, not too thick, nice 'crust' on the filling which had a thick syrup consistency and was flavourful, not over the top sweet.
Short wait outside as only 3 customers in at a time. Friendly service. Other food (sandwiches, wraps...), treats (cookies, muffins.. ), drinks available.

My brother in law lives in Georgetown and when he and his wife visit us in Arkona Ont they bring treats from your bakery. We have had several cakes and cupcakes that have all been delicious but nothing compared to the mixed box of cookies they brought up over holidays. All were amazing however the ginger snaps are THE BEST!

My boyfriend an I went there for the first time this past weekend as a special breakfast outing. I was SO impressed! They have fresh breads and baked goods all around, chocolate cookies, meringue cookies, croissants (cheese and regular) key lime pie (just to name a few). Not only was I blown away by the baked I goods but the staff was super friendly and able to answer any questions I had. They have a good selection of seating so you don't nessasarly have to be in the sun, and the walls are decorated by art work that is for sale for anyone to purchase of they choose. The pricing is very reasonable, and they accept debit.

Seriously one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been too! Stopped in to grab a quick snack, and ordered one of their many pre made sandwiches (I got veggie wrap). Then I also picked up their 2 of their delicious looking loafs (lemon cran and banana choco chip). Sitting down now with a cup of tea and a slice of the lemon loaf, and I honestly can’t wait to go back! Excellent service and very friendly. I did have their cold brew coffee- but it wasn’t for me. Such a perfect spot and love the homemade vibe of it!

I recently found Heather's bakery on a visit in Georgetown. I live 30 mins away but I go there now just for this wonderful bakery! Their baked goods are delicious creations! The triple chocolate cookies are wonderful & rich. Where else can you buy baked goods with wild blueberries that taste like blueberries, not the gmo berries that grocery stores sell? There is no bakery, cafe like Heather's where I live. You are so lucky Georgetowners!!!!

A friend of mine had some baked goods delivered to my house during Covid-19 from Heather's Bakery. I had never been there before, so wasn't sure what to expect, but WOW, was it ever delicious. The chocolate cookies and brownies were amazing, and the cinnamon rolls were some of the best I've ever had. I will definitely be going here in the future myself!

Heather is a master when it comes to baked goods, you can taste the passion in the quality and the variety. The place is always busy and that speaks for itself. Wide selection of both sweet and savory items. trying to choose can sometimes be overwhelming but that means you'll be back to try something new soon!

highly recommend. If you haven't been there you need to. You will not be disappointed.
