I'm a local and beyond happy that we have a well-run, well-stocked grocery in town. I'm sorry to see the negative reviews and can only hope that management has dealt with the individual employee behaviours. While I am a local, I don't personally know the owner or any of the employees and am happy to say I've never experienced anything but the most courteous and helpful service.

I am particularly impressed with the variety of products available in a relatively small store. The prices might be a little higher than at the large chains, though not always. Regardless, I'm happy to spend my money locally and support our community.

The quality of from the butcher shop and homemade goods is exceptional.

I am, and will continue to be, a loyal customer and supporter of our local grocery store.

A grocery store that’s not like a boring grocery store. We stopped in today to check this store out and loved how bright and spacious it felt. Very friendly staff and great selection of products from fresh produce to locally sourced meat…… the baked goods might tempt you, they look delicious (I maintained willpower)

I’ve found my new favourite grocery store. I specifically love the flat bread, pasta salads, rotisserie chicken, pies, burgers and fresh produce. They make a lot of their food in-house and get a ton of produce locally. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming as well. You can’t beat the quality of food for this price!
Also, it’s stunning and so clean inside.

Really well designed, with lots of room to maneuver. Much better experience than a large grocery superstore.

Needed a large turkey after Thanksgiving and emailed the Geddes Street Market at 11p on a Sunday night not expecting to hear back until after the holiday Monday. Surprise 10 minutes later I had a reply from Debra the owner saying she had one for me. What great service! The store is located in beautiful Elora and is great, with wide aisles, great displays, and a friendly butcher and cashiers. I will be back. Now to brine that turkey!

A lovely local grocery located on Geddes street and a great alternative to Zehrs in almost any way possible. Geddes is leagues better than the mediocre grocery store that used to inhabit the building. Highly recommend

Love our local market! We are here about 4 days a week and every time we're greeted by smiling, helpful faces. The produce is delicious and the fresh BBQ ready meat is great for these warm nights.
I find the prices are generally a bit higher than some, but to have a local market I'm happy to pay a premium. That being said, I find the price on milk to be the least expensive in the area!

INCREDIBLE MARKET. Fresh produce, amazing selection and fair prices. I have a family cottage at Lake Belwood and one of our favourite things to do is visit this market and shop as a family. We are SO grateful that it's in Elora. You've gotta stop here when you're in town.

This place is awesome. So glad we got a grocery store back in the big Town of Elora.

I like the fresh baked goods from the bread to the cookies. Aisles are always stocked with lots of stuff to pick from. The hot deli always has something good and warm. I like some of the local items they offer.

I haven't tried anything from the butcher counter but will in the future.

Hmmmm.....what would I do without Geddes Street Market?!! I love going there. There are so many nice choices. Lovely staff....and Deb and Alexis are always warm and friendly. Also... I'm vegan, and there is no place with more choices! If you live in Elora, it's nice and handy to zip over and not have to drive to Fergus ....ha! It's not far, but I love a small family grocer more than a big superstore. So...5 stars to all the good folks and great food at Geddes. Ohhh...and they make homemade lovely dinners for everyone's needs... and deeelish vegan baked goods. They even give HUGS! 😄❣💜🩷💚

Geddes Street Market is the best grocery store around. Time and time again they provide great service to everyone in the community. Debra, Noah and Alexis, and all other staff are generous and always lend a helping hand. I highly recommend this store.

Great Market! the place is always spotless clean, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The meat is fabulous. I've yet to buy anything there and been disappointed.

This is a gorgeous store, with great options. Some higher priced boutique items, but also some really reasonably priced items. I'm glad to have found this place to round out my shop.

I LOVE this grocery store. They have everything you need, a lot of local and really good quality items. The prices aren't nearly as high as I expected, very reasonable. You won't find super cheap items but you won't be disappointed with what you find.

This grocery store is a unique store in the heart of Elora. We went in just to see yhe place, as we were tourists, not specifically grocery shopping. Bought some Cathedral City British cheddar there which is fantastic!

Produce is fresh, love how Deb rotates in new products all the time. We hope the La Fontana pizzas have been popular. The spinach dip theme pizza is amazing! Keep the prosciutto! ❤🙏🏻

Geddes did an amazing job catering for our backyard celebration of life. The sandwiches, fruit platters and vegetables trays were delicious.

Oh and we bought their burgers the next night for a bbq. They were awesome

So we went in to check it out for the first time (Saturday July 17th) . It's very clean and organized. Alot of choices. But what really stood out to me is that my daughter was being a bit fussy and cranky and one of the employees left her station, came down into the isle and offered her a little bag with a cookie inside just to cheer her up. This level of customer service is amazing. To this employee I'm sorry I didn't get your name. But thank you very much. Definitely go check it out
