So often in very popular touristy areas you can get caught out with sub-par over-priced restaurants. However, this place was excellent! Pricing is above average but
we felt the standard of the food was worth it and the staff are awesome. Location superb. The amuse bouche was a plus.

Excellent reception, dogs friendly, very attentive!
House made food, very good value for money, good wines.
We passed one hour of happiness.

Lovely spot for lunch overlooking the square. Great people watching and really nice local specialities with super nice staff. My husband loved his smoked trout starter and we both enjoyed duck parmentier (like a shepherds pie but full of yummy duck) 😋

The food was a delight in every imaginable way. We highly recommend Auberge de la Rode. Be sure to make a reservation! Each dish is presented with exceptional care. Full of flavour and just the right amount of seasoning.

Superb dinner. 2 of us had starters and mains, the other 2 mains and desserts. Everything was delicious. A special mention for the dessert in the photo - it was incredible.
Excellent service too. This is a well run family restaurant and is definitely worth a visit.

This is a quiet, cute little place on the top of a mountain. It has a family owned feel and charm. The service was great, very friendly. The menu was perfect. I had duck pie and it was divine! Would highly recommend!

We had the €20 menu plus half a litre of house red and loved everything. I know you can't go on looks alone but the deserts that were coming out all looked fantastic.

This is a family owned and run restaurant, where delicious and beautifully presented food is served consistently and at reasonable price.

Just save a little space for dessert!

The restaurant is often full in the evenings, so it's always better to book.

Stunning Food, great service but be patient, get there as it opens or reserve..Trout tartare is to die for and as for the beef...I say no more beautiful..visited twice in 2 days its that good..so friendly felt like part of the family will come back aurevoir for now..

Lovely food lovely surroundings. Starters good (foie gras, good home made gravadlax). Main courses were superb. I had filet of beef with truffle mash and she had a pan-fried foie gras with a super rich risotto. We both had the gallette de douceurs which was a lovely selection of mini desserts. There was an interesting inverted deconstructed lemon meringue pie and a delightful creme brulee with liquorice, but my favourite was the Apple and walnut pudding. Good house Bergerac. They are fairly inflexible about meal times and do not turn tables so worth booking. Best meal of our holiday.

I had the 22e menu: goats cheese with honey and walnuts, duck pie & Walnut souflee. My partner had the foie gras, roast duck & mini sweet selection + we shared a medium carafe of house red. It was all exceptionally good. Great flavours, friendly staff and the atmosphere was lovely. Domme is like a fairy tale town too which makes it seem even more special. I really enjoyed this meal, I highly recommend eating from one of the set menus, they are well balanced and good value for money.

Wonderful location in Domme. Recommended by locals. Friendly service and lovely food. Wine by the carafe as good as many an expensive bottle. Strongly recommended!.
