Baobaozi （煎包煎饼）

Food was excellent. I've never had a Jian Bing before, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was excellent! Very good flavor and would definitely eat here again next time in Rouen. The restaurant is tiny so only recommend for small groups and just of note there is no toilet available.

The food is simple but delicious. Recommend you try to crispy chicken and egg wrap.

Amazing matcha crepes and tiramisu, delicious bao and salty crepes. Served rose, white and red vine. Highly recommend this Chinese cuisine!

We were so surprised to find an authentic Chinese pancake and fried bao place here!!!! The owner couple made these food with love, we could definitely taste that from every bite. Soooooooo good! Makes me homesick ;)

I was surprised to discover authentic Chinese cuisine in Rouen!
It is very delicious, always fresh and fast and very sympathetic chef. Highly recommend trying fried chicken with handmade hot sauce, bao, salty&matcha creps, and real Belgium beer:)

If you like Baos or if you ever want to give it a try, this is the place to go in Rouen !
4 types of Bao : Veggi / Pork / Beef / Chiken (my personal favorite despite my usual beef teeth)
Beware of the global flavour : beef comes with fennel, so if you don't like anise, prefere chiken (Carrot and corn) or pork (turnip and leek). The veggi can also feet your taste (Shitake, brown mushrooms, green cabbage and pak choï)

The fried chiken is litterally the best I've eat in my entire life ... Panure is very thin, and the marinated chiken so soft I could have eat multiple buckets ...

For the big appetite, a little chiken bucket + a big appetite menu (5 bao + soft drink or a beer if you put 1.50€ more + a dessert between matcha crepe, chocolate cake or a cookie) is a perfect match for our stomach, and it's still only around 13.50€ for the menu + 6.50€ for the chiken bucket

J'ai pris un menu avec du poulet frit délicieux et moelleux avec une salade de saison et mon amie a pris des jian bing Pékin avec un Bao, attention au piment, par contre, pour ce dernier.

L'ambiance est conviviale dans ce petit restaurant typique, dans le centre ville de Rouen...parfait pour faire du shopping, ensuite.
Le seul bémol est l'absence de WC mais cela est compréhensible au vu de la taille du restaurant, en plus, c'est indiqué sur la vitrine !

Je vous dis à bientôt car je reviendrai vite, miam !

De passage à Rouen, nous y avons mangé excellemment bien. La cuisine était délicieuse et raffinée, mention spéciale aux crêpes chinoises. Le cadre est aussi sympathique que son cuisinier. Que du bon.

Delicieux bao ! Celui au boeuf était exquis.
Il faut prevoir de pas venir trop tard le midi en revanche, il ne restait plus que deux bao au boeuf et des vegans a notre arrivée.

Mais gros coup de coeur pour le poulet frit !!! On était pas venus pour manger ça de base mais clairement c’était un délice.

On reviendra pour goûter les Jian Bing une prochaine fois et les restes des baos.

Un petit restaurant qui ne paye pas de mine mais qui a un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Les baos au bœuf et le poulet frit sont exquis ! 😍 Vous n'avez plus faim en ressortant... Le personnel est très sympathique et à disposition et le cadre est chaleureux, bien qu'assez petit. Petit conseil, ne prévoyez pas d'arriver à 15 personnes. En conclusion, j'ai hâte d'y retourner goûter le reste du menu !!! 😋
