It’s a fabulous shop it’s got probably Everything you need , but the experience I had recently wasn’t a good one , I shopped had several items went to checkout and “ as the cashier was putting my items through the till my wife noticed that I had picked the wrong item from the shelf “ so I went back to the shelf and there was NO alternative so I went back to the till and told the cashier and asked to remove the item “OFF” the bill , she REFUSED and said the company policy was if it goes through the till “”You have to pay for it “”” I said it’s still next to the till and I don’t want it, again she said it company policy , I said that isn’t right and the cashier said the ONLY thing I can do for you is give you a credit note I was shocked and said ok ( I should have asked for the manager . I got my credit note £19.95 and walked out . I have tried to email the manager but the person I emailed Just doesn’t want to know . GREAT SHOP BUT !!!!!!!!!!!
A sad experience

This is a wonderful shop and I am surprised by the wide array of items in here. It probably occupies multiple dimensions.

Great shop for a variety of tools, garden stuff, decorating, nuts n bolts etc

They seem to have everything I ever need. Happy people working there.

Always have great products, never really a shortage & great prices we buy alot of wood for our open fire just perfect

Brilliant, love the smell of weed as I'm walking round the store, makes me feel like I'm in Jamaica, only joking, just hammers and stuff, good shop, even better staff!!!

Fabulous shop, what they haven't got is not worth thinking about. Wish it was on my doorstep. Doing maintenance work for our son and was very impressed with the stock they carried. Much better than any B & Q.

Great shop. Always come out with a load of stuff I probably don't need but "may come in handy sometime."

An absolute Aladdin’s cave of items! They sell almost everything imaginable!

Really anything you want for small diy and every day needs ...

This place (and their other branches) are a veritable Aladdin’s cave! A [really] wide range of tools, household, car, decorating and gardening bits; and much more.

Really helpful staff too.

This store is really well stocked. It is quite large in comparison to the small shops nearby. It seemed a bit like Aladdin's cave there is such a lot to see. There is an upstairs section as well but we did not explore that. Definitely a good hardware store.

Stermat is located on a busy town road with parking available on the road outside. It is an Aladdin's cave inside selling so many ranges.
As you go in you have garden equipment, ornaments and pet foods. Thereafter you have household items such as cooking utensils and cutlery. Then you go in to working tools, electric and hand tools. Then items such as wood panels, concrete, repair items for the home and paddling pools. Upstairs there are bathroom items, ornaments and electrical cable/ door bells.
So much in one store and very competitive prices. Staff always helpful. Worth a visit.

Old fashioned hardware store cum Alladin's cave of everything you need from screws to paint, fire and stove parts, pots, pans, ladders and so much more I could be here all afternoon listing them. Always worth a visit.
