This really ought to be busier. Real food, full of flavour, cooked on site, served with quintessential Italian charm. Stupendous.

Laid back oasis right in the centre of town. Really friendly and helpful staff. Excellent pepperoni pizza and the carbonara was served with perfectly cooked fettuccine.

The Carnivora was light and crispy. It wasn’t soft like a neapolitan but it was full of flavour. I could have eaten another.

Amazing Italian pizza and the hot chocolate I got was phenomenal. The lady who served me said she likes to make their hot chocolates like they make them back in Italy. Lovely to sit in the window seats and watch Durham go by. Definitely worth dining out here

We've been here twice now and my husband is obsessed. The pizzas are excellent and the house wine is lovely. We recommend it to everyone.

Very nice service and pizza topping was very generous in comparison to the usual chains. Made extra effort for my wife’s birthday. Would definitely call again. Previously had some nice drinks, which were fairly priced.

Had a lovely meal here, staff are so accommodating moving tables and people around to seat 6 of us, pasta dishes were lovely!

I think their paninis might just be the best I've tried in the UK. Really tasty! Coffee is also of a decent quality. Service is fast and very welcoming. A definite thumbs up.

We have been twice in less than 24 hours! Arancini and garlic prawn starters, paccheri alla vodka and amatriciana then a cannolo to share for dinner last night. All so good we went back for lunch today. Fusili with crema di broccoli and salsiccia and a parmigiana, followed by a shared affogato. It’s Italian food at its best. The staff are all lovely people. We might have to go back tomorrow!

Fillipo provides the most exceptional haircut, all things considered the best I've had. Lovely guy, super chatty and easy to get on with. The haircut itself was brilliant, and was one of the first times in a while I've been able to honestly tell a barber what I thought - a brilliant job. I've got wavy hair which most find hard to deal with. The price is amazing for what you get.

Great little food place run by some italian guys that doubles as a hairdressers/tattoo studio downstairs. Delicious coffee, great pasta. This is the real deal.

Genuine Italian bar/restaurant with no loud music so you can have a conversation which is great.

Simply the best Italian cuisine in Durham. High quality ingredients, fantastic service and a great atmosphere. Make a visit to Coviello a priority if you are visiting Durham for the day because you won’t be disappointed!

This was probably the best haircut I have had in the UK; Gino didn't just cut my hair, he sculpted it. The staff is amazing, the coffee is superb, and the atmosphere is extraordinary - it felt like I had been transported to Italy! It is almost worth a four hour trip back to Durham to get a cut here again. Oh - and my wife liked my haircut so much that she went the next day to their salon downstairs to get her hair cut as well!

Called here today for the first time. Excellent haircut from Filippo and enjoyed a great coffee at the same time. I was made to feel most welcome, as was my Border Collie - Alberto and Gino have set up a fantastic business. Would highly recommend.
