First ever visit in an age and absolutely lovely food, loads of it and the staff were lovely, chatty and professional defo coming back easy 5 stars

This pub is great. The staff is very friendly, the food is very tasty, the portions are huge, and the price is good as well. If you are looking for a traditional English pub that serves mostly meat, this place is the perfect choice for you.

Husbands mixed grill was brilliant, however my pie came without veg. Waitress said it would be there in a couple of minutes. It didn't arrive. A small bowl of chips was served as 2 portions. When waitress came to clear table she just said 'aw, sorry' What we had was nice, but not enough chips and no veg.

You won't find many Sunday dinners better than this place, unreal! Big portions, small also available.
They also managed to feed a party of 30-35 people without any flaws. Highly recommend this place. Keep up the fantastic work guys 🍻

I was told by the bar staff there was a limited menu when I ordered. They still were able to produce this amazing Mixed Grill. Everything so beautifully cooked, the hand cut chips to die for.

What a fantastic experience. Absolutely beautiful home cooked food, great choice of drinks, and all for a good price. One of the most welcoming and comfortable places in the local area, and has become our first choice for a pub meal. Anyone not sure if they want to try this place, don't hesitate. Worth every penny. Look forward to visiting again.

Just moved into the area and what a local to have. Took the family over for a meal and it was fantastic. Amazing choice and excellent quality and value. Would highly recommend it. People are so friendly and welcoming. A true country pub.

Very nice atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and this is not a chain pub. The food is very nice, lashings of gravy, awesome twice fried chips, the specials menu is well worth a look at.
Very well priced too, some meals have offers for 2 for £12.... Very nice.
