Nice little cat cafe with a lovely bunch of cats living their finest lives. Currently 6 cats at present with an incoming 7th soon so is a nice environment for those cat experts and cat newbies alike.

One of the best cat cafes we've been to. The girls running it were so nice and friendly. The drinks were yummy with a choice of milks; they even offer a gluten free bake of the day! The cafe itself is small and intimate, which means you get much more contact with the very friendly cats. We went in the 15:15 slot and were delighted to find out 4pm is dinner time! And our table by the window was where the food cupboard is located, so we got all 6 cats surrounding us! Wish we could've booked a double session but they were booked solid and I'm not surprised!!! Will definitely be back when we're next in Durham. Thank you Pawsome Cat Cafe 🐱

The cafe was very well kept they let you pet, play with, and brush almost all of the cats there. All of the cat's there are well-behaved and are very social towards people.I loved every one of the cats and they never jumped on the table while I was there .Overall, it was such a wonderful experience,I will be going

As instructed by their website, we booked in for an hour when we were in Durham. Upon arrival, you enter the lobby area and are greeted by the lovely lady, who asks you to remove your outdoor shoes (so make sure you're wearing you good socks 😀). You are also informed not to give any human foods to the cats or to pick them up. Once you've agreed to these reasonable terms, you're invited to the splendour that is Pawsome Cafe. The room is well laid out, so it is light and airy and non intrusive music plays over a small speaker. They only serve dessert food (what's not to love about that?) , so I opted for a lovely hot chocolate with all the trimmings. The cats roam freely, and there are an abundance of cat toys to entice them to play. When everyone is seated and comfortable with their food and/or drink, you are given treats to give to the cats. There are also brushes readily available if you want to groom the cats, which they clearly enjoy, so it's little wonder why their coats are in such good condition. All in all, the experience was amazing. The Cafe is run by two lovely ladies who clearly love their four-legged co workers. Treat yourself to a visit, sit back, and just let the stress of the outside world melt away.

A very nice cat cafe with 6 lazy fluffy cute residents. A perfect place to spend with children. The entrance fee is 6 £ per person. Book your visit in advance, for it is busy, especially on weekends (while booking via their site 2£ deposit is required, the rest of the sum is added to the bill at the end if the visit). The menu includes drinks and desserts, also available on the website + several propositions inside the cafe. Prices are reosonable, cash or cards are accepted. On the spot entrance fee for students includes a free drink (ID card required).

Great little cat experience in the centre of Durham City, good variety of cats who are all very engaging and extremely cuddly. Staff are friendly and do their best to keep the cats engaged with all customers. Will definitely be returning to see Wally while he's not fast asleep!

Went to this cafe for the first time today with a couple of friends, and it's such a lovely place! The staff keep it very clean and tidy, while also following covid guidelines. It's obvious how much these cats are loved and cared for, and I recommend this place to anyone who just wants to sit with a bunch of cute cats! Can't wait to go again

We were visiting Durham and my daughter always wanted to visit a cat café so we stop by and we reserved an hour. The staff is friendly and really well informed about the breed of the cats.
Very calm and relaxing atmosphere. Some cats are friendly and others doesn't want to be touch or being pet. They are very curious.
The money goes for vets bills and taking care of those cats.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who love cats.
