Having read the reviews about this pub, was a bit anxious about going there but decided to give it the benefit of the doubt.
We were seated within 5minutes, food came in good time as well.
Had starters and mains. The food was freshly made and very good, portions are very generous so if you aren't too hungry skip starters and go straight to mains
Staff were lovely and friendly. Will visit again.

Management could do with having more staff as the ones there were run off their feet.

Called in here looking for lunch after visiting Hardwick hall. Lovely food reasonably priced. A couple of unusual choices for my wife who's a vegetarian. I had the braised beef which was really nice. There's lots of room between tables and the staff were all really friendly. Would highly recommend.

We had my partner's son's 18th birthday here on a bank holiday Monday, the were 19 of us in total and the staff were very attentive to everyone there and coped extremely well, the food was exceptional and several of the guests said how impressed they were with the quality of the food and the service the staff gave. I'd definitely recommend it here and will definitely return. Thanks very much to all the staff concerned you made his birthday one to remember.

Ordered two wonderful meals from the 2 for £10 menu. They were good sized portions and delicious. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely come here again.

Booked a table for 12 for the Xmas menu. What can I say...fantastic meal and service. The young boy and girl that waited our table were excellent at their job, friendly and nothing was 2 much trouble. Was asked if we wanted coffee and mince pies at the end of our meals and had a nice suprise when the girl offered latte, cappuccino etc instead of just coffee at no extra cost.
Would highly recommend!

Been here a few times it's always been ok. But last night the food was fabulous everywhere looked clean. Will definitely be going again. I believe it has new management. Best of luck to you both.

Always lovely food! The staff are amazing with our little girl! Bought her over her own little bowl with mash and gravy! Always friendly staff and one of the best 'covid safe'places around!

The wife and I have lived in Glapwell for almost 3 years and only 5 minutes away (car) and I have never been here.
I have to say...Lovely place, really really nice food at very good prices and very polite staff.
The wife and came last week and again today 7/7/18 with the 3 boys this time and again it was fantasic. 10/10

Nice homely, warm, from bar to table the landlady friendly & welcoming food just delic even the head chef came out to chat to us which we all like to chat & be made a fuss by the head chef , special board a lovely change if the chef can accommodate he will highly recommend the Plug &Feathers to friends & family ... enjoy

Food was excellent and so were the staff. Most enjoyable would recommend to everyone thanks.

Went a few years back and the service was terrible. Totally opposite now. Our family's were looked after fantastically and the food was very good too.

Very quiet. Shame as lovely surroundings and just realised a lovely walk up the side of the pub. Next time a walk with the dog and drink to relax afterwards. Carpark and walk not sign posted very well
